We heard about Castaways from some friends and had to give it a try. The drinks were a little expensive but maybe because we had several and it added up. The food was better than good and my wife commented that the fish was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was prompt and courteous. It was a good time and that’s what we look for during the winter.
As a local, we have come over in the winter months to enjoy a few drinks and music. Today, we went for lunch. We were seated at the bar, as they were quite busy. Our first impression was the bartenders snippy comment because only one of the four of us ordered alcohol. The beer that was ordered was warm from the tap. Awful service. No respect for patrons. Charged for drinks we did not order, even after bringing it to our server’s attention. All we wanted was a glass of bourbon!!!!!
