My wife and I are turning 70 years old and are visiting places from our past pleasures. Tonight was the Crabs Claw in Lavalette NJ. Wonderful time . Friday night in January at the shore and the place is hopping. Live entertainment was tip worthy, singing along at the bar. Food was fantastic, delivered timely, at temp, with care. This place deserves 10/10 stars! First of all it was customer appreciation day today and the staff circulated the restaurant with an array of appetizers from the menu. I was able to taste the stuffed mushrooms, Mac bites, shrimp scampi flatbread, meatballs, mozzarella sticks, and some pig in a blankets! Amazing! There was a raffle and the food was simple delicious. Our waitress Jackie was a superstar! Super friendly and made great recommendations.
Everytime I come I enjoy it more. Staff very friendly, traditional seafood dishes that are executed very well, good selection of beer, I tend to go in the off season because it is always very busy in the summer. Worth the visit.
