My wife and I gave this “Flavor of Poland” restaurant a try tonight, and we were delighted. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. My wife ordered the chef’s pork cutlet and I had the stuffed cabbage. The orders came with a trio of salads, and we each chose potato dumplings for our sides. All of it was tasty and served at the proper temperature. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. The price was reasonable at $51 for two — a great value for the quality of the meal.We’ll be back, next time bringing our own wine or beer, as the restaurant doesn’t have a liquor license. I took one star off for atmosphere because the private party side of the establish had some thumping music that detracted from the experience in a minor way.

NO chicken in the chicken soup. None! Ridiculous to say the least, I thought it must have been a joke! But I asked the waiter and she confirmed.

Food here is incredible. I got the sampler entre to try a little bit of all their big dishes and each one knocked it out of the park. Good portions too. Will definitely visit again soon.

Recently hosted a birthday party for my husband. We had 25 guests and use of the private room. I have nothing but superlatives to describe the experience. Food was delicious (and plentiful), Daniel was very helpful with all the details, and the room was tastefully decorated. We had all the traditional Polish family favorites: pierogi, stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes, kielbasa, salads and, at Daniel's suggestion, goulash soup to start. Desserts were beautifully presented with sweets and fruit.Everyone raved about the food! I highly recommend Maximus.

Disappointed, we ordered Hungarian pancakes, a tragedy, no meat, only pancakes with some terrible tomato sauce. We will never go back there again
