I had to give them one star because of the slice of cake I received. We ordered French toast, eggs, sausages and home fries, grilled chicken Cesar wrap, and a slice of cake. Everything was good until we tried the cake. It tasted so old and had other food flavoring on it. The cake was horrible and it was my bday cake. Took one lil bite and threw the whole thing away. We had a cherry cake I believe it was. If it wasn’t for the cake I probably would’ve gave 4 stars, for being open late (230am) and the food they made was good.
DO NOT BUY DESERT. THEY DO NOT KEEP THEM FRESH OR THROW AWAY THE OLD DESERTS.

From the moment we got there, the vibe was off. I could hear an employee being hounded to stay late after she continuously stated she couldn’t due to exams. As we were sitting down, no chance to look at the menu, we were asked what we wanted to drink. 2 seconds later someone else came and asked us what we wanted to eat. No time to take our jackets off and look at the menu. I ordered a chicken gyro and there was no tzatziki sauce (as it stated on the menu) and the “chicken” was not chicken. I asked about it and they said it was. I assure you, it wasn’t. I was never asked if I wanted anything else and it wasn’t taken off the bill. In the meantime, I could hear another employee being asked if she could stay until 2am and she explained she couldn’t because she was a minor and it was illegal. They continued to hound her and then stated something along the lines of “when I hired you I told you I needed you to work late”. That’s something that could’ve been discussed in private and if she’s a minor…she’s a minor. As we got up to pay and after my wife already paid, someone came up and asked why didn’t I eat it? I explained. They stated I should take it home. I declined. They THEN asked if I wanted something else. I declined. Very demanding staff evidently with customers and their own employees.

I love this place, me and the guys from work go there all the time, bring the kids there, tonight the kids took me there. Service was good, but we did get ignored a little bit in favor of some other customers. Momentary eye contact, and then walk away and keep moving? That’s not the best. Fruit was mealy and gross, but the fries, eggs, bacon, quesadillas, sandwich were fantastic.

I am a frequent diner and I have never witnessed such poor customer service like I did today. Ever since this diner opened for 24 hours, the volume of customers has risen. I understand table time limits exist however, this doesn’t exist at this diner. No sooner than 10 minutes after we finished eating the man attending the front desk/ I assume owner came up to our table & picked up the empty seat & slammed the seat as a gesture that we needed to get up. I thought of the possibility he may have wanted to use the empty seat to sit other guest however all the tables were seated around us & he made no further communication after his indiscreet manner of trying to flip the table over. While being at this diner the entire service feels rushed and unwelcoming.
