Tried calling in an order with still about an hour to closing and no answer. This happened about three times for me. I don't understand why if they are still open for another hour.

We were in the area and when I saw Tastee and that it's affiliated with the real Tastee we stopped in. I have frequented the one in Edison over the last 20 years and while the sandwich at this location was solid, this location leaves a lot to be desired. It's dark and dingy and it took everything in my power not to mention things I noticed to my wife cuz I knew she would never eat her sandwich if I did haha. There was not a single person there at 1:00pm on a Saturday. I have never been at Tastee at any time with less than 10 people in line and a constant flow of people. Idk what this location was, but not a single person came in or out in our 3-5 mins there, kinda weird. Fresh bread, very light on the meat compared to Edison and the toppings looked like they were a few hours past their prime. Overall, the #3 and the oven roasted turkey were good so 4 stars overall but the location is honestly a 2.

I’ve rated before but not much has changed. Well maybe the change is it has slid down hill. Hoagies are still mediocre to good. Problem is the meat is low budget with bland flavor. The bread is pretty much the same mediocre needs to be bread that will not get immediately soggy from condiments and not so much like plain old white bread. The topper was one of the young workers had headphones on from the time I ordered until I paid. Not a thank you or any interaction.Unfortunately I will most likely be going to Jersey Mikes when it open s in Lawrence shopping center.

If I could leave a 0 I would. I went in the other day to grab a sub before going back to class. I ordered a sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, salami, vinegar and mayo . But when I left I realized my order was wrong ..missing multiple items. I called to see if I could get a refund and the disrespect I got on the phone from the two teenagers working there was unreal. I asked if I could get a refund and they kept saying no you can't, after my order was wrong. I also was getting blamed for not watching them make my sandwich to make sure they are doing it correctly, it's most certainly not my job to watch you to make sure you do your job correctly. Whoever hired these kids needs to do a better job the disrespect, them hanging up on me , the unprofessional behavior was ridiculous. Also from the minute you walk in there is no feeling of you being welcomed. Whoever runs this place and hired these kids should take some notes on how to make it a more enjoyable experience for customers .

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The bread was so soft. The mayo was really flavorful ever. The employee was very nice and patient. The meat was amazing. And even though my order was pretty simple it was so delicious.

I've been going to this humble sub shop for years and I've always had a positive experience. The ingredients are always fresh, prices are fair, and the staff is friendly. They sometimes close early but that's understandable for a small business. They offer seating if you want to sit and eat but most folks grab and go.

The subs are consistently fantastic, but there's room for improvement in the customer service skills of the younger staff. While it's important to remember they are still learning, there's potential for them to do better.

gone down hill of late. sandhwichs neve made right over seasoned or under seasoned. workers more content to listening to music on head phones than making a good sandwich

The subs are some of the freshest around. Good size and variety. If it’s busy the line can substantial. The atmosphere could be improved but the subs are the focus.

If you’re looking to get a great sub to pick up and take home with the freshest ingredients this is the place to go. We stop there when we need something quick for lunch or dinner when the kids have after school activities and are always happy with the size of the sub, the freshness of all the choices and how friendly they always are … for a reasonable price.

Grew up in Chambersburg and feels like home, price is on point too. Capicola and prosciutto - simple, jersey hoagies like I remember as a kid.
