I normally don't take the time to write reviews however Hambone Opera got my attention. You can t help but gravitate towards the smell of the smoked meat. the staff was fast super friendly and efficient. I go there towards the end of the day and they were out of pulled chicken so I went with the brisket. Hands down best brisket in NJ. The smoked flavor the seasoning the tenderness of the meat and just enough fat. Cole slaw was extremely fresh but needed a little more...
this dude knows how to make bbq. its all fresh we got brisket pulled chicken and pulled pork for an event! so good and he is really good guy to work with. he will do hog roast for you. this was leftovers but sooo good
You know the food is going to be good when someone almost runs you over to get in line before you for brisket! Well, the brisket was amazing! Fatty, tender, perfect amount of seasoning and the bark…wow! For fun we also got the chicken wings and they had a nice balance of spice with a hint of sweet. I will definitely be back to try the pork and get more brisket!
