This is our go-to place and has been for the past 12 years. The pizzas are excellent. We get "the works" about half the time: generous, tasty toppings on a great thin-to-medium crust. The other pizzas we've tried are very good, and our favorite is the Brooklyn -- sensational! Our family likely accounts for a fair percentage of Varsity's cheesesteak sales year to year. I like the deluxe, and every once in a while I go for the buffalo chicken version. My wife is partial to their turkey bacon wrap, and we only recently discovered their outrageously good chicken parmesan sandwich. Onion rings and chicken wings are top flight. The staff is always friendly. We almost always do takeout, but you can eat at tables inside. Soccer matches are usually playing on the big screen TVs.

Been going here for a couple years now. Way out of my way but ireally like their pizza. Went in the other day got my pizza to go, gave the cashier guy a $5.00 tip for the crew and he didn’t say thank you or even acknowledge it. I’ll go back, but ain’t gettin any more free money. Sorry pal you blew it.

Placed an order via telephone and very clearly asked for (2) Buffalo Chicken Cesar Salads. One with Blue cheese and the other with Cesar dressing on the side, as I normally order. When my colleague went to pick it up - they made a garden salad so we requested for the correct order. They refused to remake the order. He said he cannot continue to remake salads, however, this was the first time we told them our order was incorrect. Which tells me they make the mistake frequently but place the blame on others. We order from here all the time. Food is good. But that type of response was definitely disappointing.

Always loved the pizza but the inside used to be more colorful and now it is just grey and sad looking. :(

Stopped by for lunch w/ my GF. We’ve always have driven past but never have stopped to try, we gave it a shot and were disappointed we got some slices, 1 plain 1 sausage 1 mushroom 1 penne pasta and a order of fries Tomato sauce seemed thick like it was canned and pizza was thin and floppy, the pasta pizza did not have any flavor and was oily we jeujed it up with some parm garlic and red chili but it didn’t rlly help. The order of fries was small and not salted ( may be a plus for some people ) we were hungry it wasn’t bad enough that we couldn’t eat it but don’t think I’d come backService wasn’t bad pretty typical for a pizza spot.

Pretty good spot, convenient. I’ve noticed lately there’s been less toppings on the pizza, even cheese just seems like all bread. Hoping it’s just been once in a blue moon thing lately but the past 2 times i have visited I’ve noticed a change in quality.

I like the cheesesteaks here. I ask for extra cheese . And the wings are pretty good but I like to say well done. The lentil soup is good too when they have it. Sausage pizza is the crumbled kind which I enjoy on this particular pizza pie. If I want thin crust bar pie I'll go to a tavern like flower or Jo Jo

When I rate anything one must not be absolute, what I mean is it would be unfair to rate Sizzler and Ruth's Chris as if they were the same establishment. One must leave room for relativity, for example location, can I rate varsity and Ray Barry in Manhattan as if they were both the exact same owners, Cooks and were located next door to each other. For a long time now I have been ordering my pizza from a competitor that is a couple miles north on 206. About a month ago I just by chance stopped in because I was so hungry. Pizza is an art, I was born, and breaded in Manhattan, and qualify as a Pizza, Dinner, and Marijuana connoisseur, of sorts. I rate them a five, I just ordered and I am going to also have a cheesesteak, in time I will explore their dinners and other cuisine and let you know what I think. I wish you, and your loved ones, a very happy, and blessed New Year. Sincerely, Jack Murphy

Recommended dishes: Brooklyn Sicilian pie, a white pie with sliced tomatoes, it's made with mozzarella and ricotta cheese and olive oil, and you'll never eat regular pizza again

Great spot as well. Good food. Some times the bottom of my calzone is a little burnt though.

Went here and got a cheese pizza to assess their basic pizza quality compared to other local pizzerias. We found it to be a mediocre pizza at best. Crust had strange flavor and too bready of a texture. Cheese and sauce both lacked flavor. Ambiance is outdated and not great. Wouldn’t recommend, particularly given the caliber of other pizzerias in the area.
