My new favorite place!I love real matcha tea - the kind we don’t actually get in the USA. The real Japanese Matcha. This is the place to go. The tea is amazing! It is owned by a Japanese woman who knows her tea. The atmosphere is true to Japan even with being welcomed at the door in classic Japanese fashion. I was so surprised to hear the greeting I wanted to go back outside and come in again to give the proper response. It took me back to a time in the 80’s when I lived there briefly. So cool! Delicious tea! Love the people who work there too. They are very respectful of the Japanese way of being and they have that same polite, respectful way about them.

They have the BEST matcha in the area! Worth the visit if you're a green tea lover or tea aficionado. I love how their tea is ground onsite and the care taken to craft each order. Please do not expect their latte to taste like Starbucks or the similar, because it's far more elevated than that. This is high quality tea, crafted-to-order, and I think they do a great job balancing the pure taste of the tea without obstructing it with sugar or other additives. Plus, they make their own in-house simple syrup you can add to your drink if you need more sweetness.

The most authentic matcha spot ever. I live over an hour away but it’s always so worth the trip! You can really taste the difference, true matcha you won’t find anywhere else. Their matcha and hojicha cookies are incredible (I always grab a few to take home), and my favorites are the mango matcha (pretty sure it was seasonal) and the dark chocolate matcha. 100% recommend coming here if you love matcha or just want to try the real deal!
