The best ice cream I've had so far! Always fresh and the flavours are pronounced and tasty!! A charming small neighborhood store with indoor and outdoor seating.

Great ice cream with variety but not an overwhelming amount of options. Great vibes and will 100% go back

Best ice cream that I've had in the US. So much better than the Bent Spoon, or other ice cream places in the area. The portions were mind-blowing, and the price was astounding. The ice cream was so rich in flavor that if you let their sorbets melt a bit, it's practically fruit juice. Every flavor that we had was fantastic. Shop is nice, and it's a family run business. Must stop in Princeton or Trenton!!!

Such a cute little place! Owners/employees were so fast and efficient and prices are great! You get what you pay for and then some! Got a very generous serving 1 scoop cup and my husband got a very generous size 2 scoop sundae! Can’t wait to go back and try more flavors!

This place has excellent, delicious ice cream. The owner are staff and friendly and attentive. They even have a cool tablet with a big checker board where kids can play. The owner is a big donor to local firefighters, and has been extremely responsible during the covid pandemic. Overall extremely pleased with this place. Full rating five stars. Feel free to contact me further about this review. Best wishes.

If you are ever in the Lawrenceville area, in NJ, you must treat yourself to Purple Cow Ice Cream located on the Main Street of Lawrenceville. In this cool Victorian house, you will find roughly 20 homemade ice creams ranging from classic flavors such as vanilla, and chocolate, to the more their more interesting flavors such as their famous Purple Cow (black raspberry with chocolate chips) to Cotton Candy, or Coconut Almond Joy. No worries for those needing SF because they carry a couple of SF flavors as well as yogurts and sorbets. We purchased the following flavors: Banana Oreos (sweet), Cookie Monster (less sweet), Coffee Mud Pie (good coffee profile), mango sorbet, and vanilla (to which my Hubby swears is the perfect Creamsicle combo). Their flavors are not extreme but rather multi layers of some fun and funky sweetness with cookies, candy, or tangy flavors, curating a celebration for your tastebuds. They have plenty of tables inside and out and parking is rather limited and tight so know the size of your vehicle. There is street parking but most locals walk over. They honor charge cards but you will need to tip in cash. Expect plenty of smiles and good times when coming and leaving this fun establishment. Especially when after you order and see the size of your scoops and the great pricing for it. The staff is absolutely wonderful as they answer any questions and you can sample prior to ordering. It's a wonderful and warm community ice cream shop where there is a heavy emphasis on the word community. Looking around their walls, you can see how Purple Cow is actively involved in the local community ranging from their support to local causes and fundraising. In case you are pondering how they came upon the shop's name, the owner happily exclaimed he named it after his daughter’s painting. If I had to sum it up, I would say, “this is a fun and unpretentious ice cream parlor with fun flavors to be had.”

Stumbled upon this gem in a Google search and I'm so glad I did! Such a cute place, with good service and delicious ice cream! They have seating both indoors and outdoors. The prices are a little high but for the serving size, you can't beat it! I got a double scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough and it was great! Can't wait to go back

Best ice cream shop in the area. Always have new and delicious flavors. If you can't decide on what to get, go with the Holy Cow.

MUST make a stop if you’re around the area!! The ice cream are SO good, love the creamy texture with the right amount of sweetness. The size of the scoop is HUGE!!! The friendly crew are very helpful with recommendations and samples.

Fair is fair. Product and staff was good and if I only rated on that it would be 5 stars. AND THEY HAD SUGAR FREE ICE CREAM!!! However they have over the top COVID protocols (face mask is optional but only 1 family at a time), which though respectable, is a major impediment to the whole experience. 15 min wait times to enter the store (when I went and guess also a testament to the product). They have the ability to make it uber efficient if they choose to since they have multiple service points which is not being utilized.

Purple cow is run by the nicest people. The ice creams are always great and reasonably priced. There are chairs and tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream, both indoors and outside.
