Love this place! Me and my fiancée come here almost every week (sometimes multiple times a week) to get sandwiches. Not only are their bagels baked fresh daily, the staff is very friendly. Great place to stop on before work, or dine in.

His owner is awful! He is very rude! He refused to give me a paper bag for my bagel 🥯 and he doesn’t like when you pay with credit cards!!!! also

I never feel the need to leave a review, I’ve been to this bagel shop before. Bagels are okay but customer service is awful. This was my first time having an interaction with the owner, and he was nothing but rude and miserable. Being in the customer service industry, there is a way to talk to YOUR customers & this was not it. Won’t be returning to what felt like a racist establishment! Do better

No idea how so many people are saying the bagels aren’t good because they’re the best ones I’ve ever had! I’ve been coming since I was a kid and since I moved away, this is the first place I go to when I come home. My whole family loves this place and everyone I bring here loves it. The owners are more friendly some days than others, but this is Jersey, isn’t everyone like that lol? Get a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a French toast bagel- trust me just try it!!

its one of those places where you go for the food and stay for the abuse but only if your up for it. They are particular about providing you with food the way they want it prepared. meats are boars head and sandwiches are made to order.

So rude! I'm a repeat customer. I called in an order, I went to pick up. The owner (man) rung me up, knew I was waiting. After 10 minutes sayz , did you call in? I said, um, yes, if its not ready I can't wait. He said did you give name I said don't know she took order fast. He walks away and says is your nane Wendy I said yes he said it's been sitting here. I'm not a mind reader he said. I said well you should have looked. He got very rude I told him he was very rude. I will never go there again and this time bagels where awful

I never leave negative reviews, but this was completely unacceptable! We had never been to this location so were unfamiliar and parked in a spot we apparently weren’t supposed to park in. We didn’t realize because the parking lot was pretty chaotic. We saw a vehicle pull out of a spot and then backed into it since it seemed to be the only one available. Before we even walked in the door the owner aggressively came at us with a complete attitude telling us we could not park there. In his defense we later realized there was a sign we did not see, but the way he approached us was extremely rude and unnecessary! It was as if he made the assumption we knew we weren’t allowed to park there and did so anyway and that was far from the case. The way he spoke to us and then continued to do so was completely unacceptable! Growing up in a family business and understanding the struggles that come with it, we still would never treat anyone like this. Choose KIND in the new year!

I came to see if the reviews matched with my recent experience. And yes, they do. I’ve been here several times since I started working in the area in September. Always good so I was excited to bring my family for the first time on a Sunday when we were in the area and the owner was at the counter. (Only I didn’t know he was the owner - I figured he was just an employee having a bad day based on his interactions with the customers - I’ve never seen a business owner act such a way) Then he was unnecessarily rude to me and my daughter because our (called in) order wasn’t ready yet which we were actually fine with. He seemed annoyed with us that we arrived and our order was not at the counter yet. That was only the beginning. I won’t go into any more details other than what I feel was the worst. The worst part for me was the way he spoke to his own staff members (some appearing to be teens) that were kind, friendly and genuinely trying to provide a quality experience after they saw how he was behaving. I honestly hope that level of poor behavior towards his staff is not something they think is normal in any workplace especially in customer service roles.

So fine, I get it. We are from Jersey, we can handle it so I did - but I won’t go back. And besides everyone has a bad day, right? Yeah, these reviews prove it was not a bad day — I just got lucky on my previous visits to never interact with this guy.

Good thing for me is that we have plenty of great bagel shops literally blocks from each other and the others provide great food and great service.

The bagels are not good. They have a terrible texture. The owner and another woman working there are less than pleasant they act like you are bothering them for coming to order a bagel. No wonder its typically empty.
