This is a review for the service only. I called them to find out if I need a reservation on Saturday. The auntie who picked up the phone was the rudest person I’ve ever talked to in any restaurant, in both Korea and the US. The call was literally 41 seconds and she cut me off 3 times in that 41 seconds. She obviously had zero interest in my business, and just can’t wait for me to hang up. The way she talked to a potential customer was worse than an average person responding to a beggar asking for changes in the street. That says a lot about their hospitality and management style.

Excellent soups and delicious authentic Korean dishes. Friendly staff, but give them a chance to understand what you are asking for. English isn’t 100% but extremely kind. This place has been around since my teen days. I believe almost 20 plus year or so. If your open that long? You doing something right. Plus Korean celebrities come here to eat on the low key. Privacy is everything to them. Ive never seen them myself but I’ve seen americas popular news broadcaster. He retire now but eats here regularly

Soy sauce crab set meal is so delicious!! I think it tastes better than Korea. Soybean paste stew, steamed egg, and boiled rice were served, and it was generous and delicious, so I really liked it.

I went to a regular place after a long time but was left disappointed.
After a year, I visited my favorite restaurant for the first time in a long time, but everything had changed. The employees I worked with all changed, and the taste and quality of the food was not the same. The stew was bland, lacking in flavor, and even the basic preparations were not done properly. The stir-fry dish didn't feel like it was freshly cooked at all and overall I felt like there was a lack of care. In particular, service was also a big problem. The staff were unfriendly and seemed to have an attitude of trying to increase sales rather than being considerate of customers. It's been a place I've been a regular for a long time, but I really don't want to recommend it in its current state.

They are famous for ssambap. First time for me but when I looked around. Every single table had ssambap on theirs. I ordered spicy pork one for two. Generous heaps of assorted fresh lettuce and greens for ssam and spicy pork cooked and served over hot stone. quickly served. Delish! I’ll def go again.
The taste is okay, but the person serving the short cut was so unfriendly that I don't want to go there again. If you're not going to serve people properly, don't you have to work in the kitchen? It's been a while since I had a very unpleasant meal.
