I recently had the pleasure of having my bridal shower at Arca, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for my special day! The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell the ingredients were fresh and the chefs put a lot of care into each plate. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or a special event I highly recommend arca! I can’t wait to come back!

Service was terrible, nobody cared to come ask if we needed anything or enjoyed our orders. They stayed around our table to push us to leave. I even told them to move away from my table but they started arguing and told us to get up and leave. Food was super expensive for the quality and quantity. It all came to our table cold and dry. We paid our bill, no tip, and left the restaurant with all our food barely touched. Animals would not eat that food. Avoid at all cost. Venue is beautiful but extremely loud. Couldn’t hear each other speaking.

Beautiful place. Drinks were delicious. Service was great. Food was not good. We both got the specials, lamb chops which were gray in color and raw. I asked for it cooked medium. Very unappetizing with a small portion of veg/potato. He got the special hallibut which was dry/overcooked did not like the strawberry drizzle over top and it came with nothing special white rice with a few mixed veg through it. We left hungry and it cost a fortune! Upscale vibe but certainly not upscale food. No good!

Fantastic Dining Experience and pleasantly surprised. We had a wonderful evening at Arca in Lincoln Park! The burrata was incredibly creamy and paired perfectly with truffle, pear & fig crostini. The branzino was expertly cooked with tender, flavorful meat. We also enjoyed the drinks, which were creative and perfectly balanced. We had lemoncello martinis and purple rain. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. Sleek trendy vibe in open airy layout. Overall, a great spot for a delicious, upscale meal. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. I had frutti di mari with linguini and tartuffo for dessert. Very Delicious! The service was excellent and the atmosphere fantastic.

Very cool looking spot. However, the service was overbearing and suffocating. One waitress took drink orders and practically took my just finished drink out of my hand before I could put it down. Another waiter took food orders. Several busboys hovered and took our plates before we were done with our app. Servers were lingering throughout the meal and we felt rushed. Dessert was offered immediately following dinner and we had slow down the waitress several times to enjoy our drinks. Tried to use an AMEX GC but they wouldn’t take it. Food was fair at best

We were there for a friends party today. We were never there before. We'll probably visit again for a nice dinner out.

The food was just too salty. If you want a spike in blood pressure and a feeling of dyspepsia (bloating), this is the restaurant for you! Atmosphere was just aptly ok, yes its a restored church that was sold and redeveloped into a commercial establishment restaurant. When its busy and you are an ethnic minority who is not lighter skinned, prepare for the servers to rush you out because they need your table for their anglo and euro-centric prized customers!

I think my hard earned money should be spent at a better establishment than this. Food is not satisfying for the price and service is not close to being any good.

Felt out of place. Too snooty for us.
202 Italian Beistro was much better.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Loyal customer since 202 and now Arca. When they told me they were going to be taking over an old church and revamp it. The vision that they had in mind was out of this world. You walk in and your are taken away by the entrance doors and a cool piano. Then it opens up to the bar for those that just want a chill vibe. You walk into the dining room experience where the decor and ambiance just grabs you. They have a wine room for those intimate settings whether it’s a birthday, guys night, or whatever your celebrating. Outdoor seating with great lighting and beautiful furniture.

Now I hosted my sister’s Bridal Shower upstairs and it was such a phenomenal afternoon. Two parties were going on that day and the way the acoustics hit- it didn’t affect one another’s parties it still gave that privacy that you want. The staff went above and beyond for us. So grateful. The drinks and food were so good. I definitely recommend the bistro calamari and the rigatoni pasta.

If you are planning on having a party I totally recommend Arca.
Thanks Arca.

We had steak tartare as an appetizer, and it was delicious! Entrees, Branzino with truffle mashroom risotto and lemon caper sauce and squid ink linguine with pistachio pesto sauce, baby shrimp and lobster. This place is a great place in Lincoln Park NJ. Highly recommended ?

Problem1: we were 8 people at a business dinner. Needed 3 checks. Were told they cannot do that, all had to be on 1 check.
Problem 2: One of our party was going to be 15 min. late. So we asked to order our appetizers. Nope, we had to wait for the entire party to be seated first???
Problem 3: Service extremely slow!
Problem 4: In an old church where acoustics designed for church services. This made the restaurant extremely loud. Could not hear half the people at the same table.
Problem 5: Food was mediocre and some barely lukewarm.
All this and the cost is very pricey. Not worth the money. Definitely would not go there again.

Beautiful atmosphere, welcoming environment and the food was delicious. The service at the bar was slow. The one and only bartender was terrific, but it's a bear for one person to handle the bar population and the service bar in tandem. It was a Thursday evening, the main bar should have been better staffed. All in all, kudos and best of luck.
