Leaving 5 stars just because of the flautas, they're so good. You gotta dip them in the sweet jelly dipping sauce. I can't vouch for the rest of the menu but the flautas are great.

Everything was amazing! We ordered the mexican platter and it was delicious! Chips and salsa included and the sauce is really good, our servir Vikkie was super nice and always checked our table <3 Def recommend coming here! Drinks were good too

My sister and I are regulars at this location—we go at least once a week because the food is genuinely great. Unfortunately, the service is consistently terrible. We’ve brought our concerns to management multiple times, and yet, nothing ever changes.
Just today, we waited over 20 minutes before anyone greeted us. Thankfully, our server Vikki was actually very kind and attentive—one of the few times we’ve had a positive service experience. However, the rest of the staff was, once again, disappointing.
Leslie (bartender) who has been rude to us in the past as well. I remember one occasion when we simply asked to order more happy hour food while sitting at the bar, and she got visibly upset and snapped that the kitchen was already closed. When we asked to speak to a manager, she stood behind him mocking and laughing at us while we tried to explain what happened. The manager said and did nothing. It was incredibly disrespectful and humiliating.
This kind of behavior is beyond unprofessional, and it’s honestly shocking that Leslie is still employed there. On top of that, the hostess (who we’ve come to find out is her sister) is regularly rude and cold to us every time we arrive.
The service overall is slow, inattentive, and feels like the bare minimum. Management never seems to step in to resolve or improve anything. Whether it’s an understaffing issue or poor leadership, something clearly needs to change. It’s incredibly frustrating because we keep coming back for the food—but the service makes every visit feel like a mistake.

I got stuck an extra night after Newark Airport crapped the bed and because it was so many people, the nearest hotel was in Linden. Staying there and having lunch at Chevys was such a surprise delight. It made a very cranky me, much happier. I had an excellent bar tender/waiter serve me birria tacos and a huge margarita. Both were very good. I wish I had caught his name because he deserves kudos. Thank you for taking a frustrating extra day of work trip and helping to make it bearable! Will return again if ever in the area.
Excellent and friendly service! Welcoming and fun atmosphere. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, from cocktails, to appetizers, to entrees. My mom said the street style corn was the best she’s had in her life! Thank you to our wonderful server Darlenys, and the very nice tall, young manager for ensuring we had a great experience :)

What a great experience! The food and the service were both outstanding. Start with the Applejack drink - it’s delicious, and it just sings “autumn”. The street corn, elote, was really the best I’ve ever had. Our entrees were both very good also, but I’m especially excited about these 2 items. Try them! I don’t think you can go wrong. :)
