I normally get my cakes at Grand Delicias in Rahway, but when im in the mood for a different cake, my go to is always Cinderellas Bakery.

I'm giving this bakery one star because I've been there in the past and they've made my cakes before and I never had a problem, but today I went to pick up my cake and it wasn't what I wanted. I wanted a cake in the showcase that had buttercream icing with a design around it and when I picked it up they put whipped cream on the cake and there was no design on it, it looked nothing like it did in the show case and it looked like they just threw it together. I also had to wait for the cake to come out because it wasn't ready. The person at the store insisted it was buttercream, but it was WHIPPED CREAM. I took the cake home and because it was WHIPPED CREAM, the cake fell apart and now it's ruined. I will NEVER be returning to this place again.

I order 18 cupcakes and got 18 squares of cake for my daughters birthday that I did not ask for. I never received a call to inform me that they forgot my order and substituted it with that ugly mess. Very upset and will not be doing any future business with Cinderella bakery because at the end of the day they STILL CHARGED FULL PRICE FOR THEIR MESS UP.

Was looking up bakeries to get a cake. Walked in and there were only 3 cakes. Not much variety and price was to much. The cakes weren't labeled so was a guessing game as to what's the filling. Linden is terrible with their cakes, go to nyc I'm sorry. This place had more single desert options. I just happened to need a cake.

I needed a birthday cake at the very last second last year. It was 5 minutes after closing. The door was not locked so I stuck my head in and the girl welcomed me to come in and get what I wanted. The perfect cake I wanted was right there! She decorated it and everything. Did not rush me. Wonderful service. Cake was out of this world great! Got one this year, but I ordered in advance. Perfection in my opinion.

I’m new to NJ as I recently moved to the area. I was looking for the perfect cake for my baby’s first birthday and let me tell you that I’m glad I came upon Cinderella bakery. I did not get a chance to taste their cakes before placing my order so I took a chance on them and it paid off. I ordered a tres leches cake with a fresh fruit filling and that cake was so delicious. It really made my daughters birthday to have a delicious cake. The cake was perfectly moist and just the right amount of sweet and the Minnie Mouse picture was so cute and exactly what I wanted. This is from now on my go to spot for cakes ?

I’m a little disappointed. & i don’t personally like giving reviews but several days later I’m still upset about it. I ordered a cake about 5 days before my dads birthday (he doesn’t live in state anymore) so i wanted to do something big for him. I didn’t choose a crazy design given the time that it was 5 days before the party. They’ve done my sweet 16 cake and it looked IDENTICAL to the photos. 5 layer cake, beautiful can’t complain. That’s why i came back. I went, discussed the cake etc. she said the first photo i showed her (an entire fish body jumping out of water) would take to long to make and wasn’t sure if they could do it so she wanted me to see if i can find a fake toy fish to put on top. I didn’t want to do that because i wanted everything edible. So i showed her a second photo (not even half of a fish’s body, picture below) and she said they could do it and informed i wanted more beach vibes too. Which was good. I also specified i wanted it for 25-30 people and that’s exactly what was written on my receipt. Overall when i got the cake i immediately shut down. They used small toy fish, for the top of the cake and the side. Added some edible sand (sprinkles etc) and some leaves on the side. The gone fishing sign was straight cardboard covered with fondant. Nothing was edible but the cake. The cake ALSO did not even feed 20 people. Everyone complained it was dry, as if it wasn’t fresh and was sitting out for a couple of days. It was embarrassing for me to have spent $155 on a cake like that for a big event.. i couldn’t even feed everyone mind you the slices were already thin enough. I came back here bc they did a marvelous job with my sweet 16 cake. It is what it is, at least we had cake but it did anger me to know we didn’t feed the whole party while it stated for 25/30 people. You can see in the picture that sure doesn’t feed that many lmao… i don’t want to sound rude but it definitely was a waste of money and i don’t bake but i would have rather done it myself… nothing was edible. If the fish & other things were at least edible or fondant i would’ve been happy. But it seems so unorganized and just thrown together. I feel like they were super lazy with the cake.

This was a nice find because in the past, I've found it difficult to find a decent bakery in this part of New Jersey. The cannoli and the tres leche cake were a hit. I wish the cream puffs were cream filled and not filled with custard. The prices were decent and I will try the bakery out again on my next outing to NJ.

Ordered a cake- was very specific about the color navy being the color needed for the cake- the owner wrote NAVY on the order form. Arrived to pick up and the cake was royal blue. The owner then states that I said royal blue/ crosses the word NAVY from the order form and proceeds to tell me I said royal blue. The owner is not just a liar, but an absolutely disrespectful idiot. Who does that? Why do that? Would never recommend anyone dealing with a person like that. Waste of time and brain cells. Get your cakes somewhere else.

Excellent food. Wonderful service. When I started working from home instead of commuting into the city, I was worried about where I will eat every day. I walked around the corner and found this quaint little bakery that I never knew was here. I have to say they make the best sandwiches ever. If you live local, I highly recommend stopping in and getting a Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese. It was the best sandwich I’ve ever had. Not kidding. Give it a try?

Very bad attention, I had a cake made 4 days before, I specified the color and model and when I saw the cake the model and color were different, I complained and the person got spoiled and they gave me back the money throwing it on the table.
