The service is warm & friendly. It's a traditional West Indian mom & pop restaurant, nothing super fancy but you can smell all the wonderful spices when you come through the door. The portions are large and seasoned well, but my food was incredibly salty. It tasted like hypertension with a side of stroke. I had steamed fish and my partner had griot. He was pleased with his meal but agreed that mine was too salty and he's heavy handed with the salt shaker in...
Fried banana was cut too thick. The griot had no seasoning. The tomato sauce was watery and salty. The rice and pikliz was good. They give you a large serving and the customer service was friendly.
A lot of food. If you don' t like spicy food don't get any meat or fish. You can get legume.That's why I gave 4 stars. If you love spicy food the best ?. They serve breakfast and the "mais" is delicious.
