This was my first visit on Saturday afternoon. I ordered jerk chicken with cabbage and rice for lunch, and the food was delicious. The gentleman who took my order, both over the phone and in person. He was very kind, which I truly appreciated. I also tried the veggie patty, and it was very good as well. I will definitely be returning.

Didnât want to write this, but itâs typical of most Jamaican restaurants. I donât know if itâs inclusive of an authentic experience. But customer service was just cold. I was the only customer I wasnât greeted until I said something 1st. The young lady at the counter was on her phone could be work related. Because she then started make an order. Then the way she spoke it was so low, it was like she was forcing her self to speak. She asked what I would like while completing the other order. But she couldnât start it, a more friendly woman came from the kitchen and asked if i was being helped. The order was relayed to her, now im a man of west Indian background and it was just no friendliest. I was treated more of a beggar than a paying customer. I consume take out daily and very close by. I could have been transitioned to a consistent customer. Now there has been a name change so the restaurant is under a different name now. I visited previously but donât remember why I never returned. The food, for large I think it should have more meat. I ordered a large jerk chicken. And got lots of rice and was able to substitute the side of cabbage for potato salad. Which was really good the rest of the food was good. Wasnât bad was hungry donât have anything negative to say about the taste. I will give this place a later try because it has lots of potential. But another cold customer service experience will it make it my last.

Finally! I find some authentic Jamaican food that reminds me of my days of growing up in Flatbush, Brooklyn. 16 years of living in NJ and every place I try their food is just douced with hot pepper and no seasoning. Real Jamaicans cook with seasonings not only pepper. It's all about the flavor. I ordered their brown stew chicken veggies and sweet plantain and it was so tasty and fresh. It actually reminded me of my mom's stew chicken who is from Antigua! The foods are similar and the flavor. I will definitely go back and try some other dishes đđ and I will definitely spread the word.

I ordered an oxtail platter. You would think that with the way the food was expensive, the taste wouldâve been better. The platter lacked flavor, and there was barely any jerk seasoning on the oxtail itself and the rice and peas. Very dry. The plate couldâve been better.

Food was good - great service
Great service and food. The restaurant was very clean but empty. Iâm not sure if it was the time that I went or what, but you always wonder when there isnât a flow of traffic. Everything was excellent. My only issue is that it takes so long to cook the food. I was very hungry and it took about 30 minutes so that is something to keep in mind. The food was excellent and I plan on going back to try other dishes!
Never again
amazing taste and great service. Novy is a Allstar chef!

Delicious, perfectly portioned! Highly recommend!
I really wanted to love this place unfortunately itâs not at all what it seems, when we walked in we waited 5-10min before someone actually came out to take our order. The woman was very nasty and not helpful at all when it came to ordering. My boyfriend and it waited 45 min for our food which we thought was going to be fresh but it was very disappointing, I think the food is very overpriced and the food is average, the oxtails were so small and not worth the money. For reference I order oxtail platter and 1 oxtail patty and 1 curry goat patty and a small Mac and cheese it came out to $50.
Awesome vibe
Came up from NC for a funeral and we decided on Jamaican food for dinner tonight. There is space in there to sit down and eat if you like, but we decided to do carry out. My husband got the jerk chicken with peas and rice and cabbage and plantains. I got the oxtails with peas and rice and cabbage and plantains. The lady that took my order was very nice and friendly. The ambience of the place was warm and welcoming. Since I live in NC, I guess I could be a little bias because âI thinkâ the food is just seasoned âdifferentlyâ My husband did like the jerk chicken but it was a lil dry (the legs) and the oxtails were decent. The small oxtail plate was $20. No it wasnât a lot but that was to be expected becuz they do offer a larger size. All in all, it wasnât a bad experience, but I wouldâve liked the food to be more âflavorfulâ & seasoned.
I saw this restaurant on Instagram. My mom is Barbadian and like her I love Caribbean food. The atmosphere is very nice and great service. The food delicious. The only minor critique is shrimp for rasta pasta was too small. Overall, lovely place & I definitely recommend ?.
