Stay away! This place has terrible cakes. The cakes are too sweet, the texture is spongy, and the customer service is terrible. The owner took advantage of my elderly mother and refused to give her her deposit back 20 minutes after she place the order because she tasted the cake and it was terrible. She did not disclaim that it was non refundable and said she should have read the fine print. This is illegal in NJ under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act (CFA), N.J.S.A. 56:8-1 et seq. This law prohibits deceptive and unconscionable business practices, which includes failing to disclose material terms of a transaction that could affect a consumer’s decision to purchase. The law emphasizes the need for transparency and fairness in business practices, which would include notifying customers about any non-refundable aspects before they make a payment.

June 22 2024 I ordered a cake for my daughter's quince. I was excited because finding a authentic Dominicana cake is hard to find. The cake tasting was great. The other cakes I have ordered have been fine. I was so disappointed and embarrassed. My guests didn't eat the cake. It hardly any filling and the cake was not moist like at my trial tasting.It was not worth the 850 I paid for it.

Loved loved loved how my son’s 1st birthday came out. The cake itself was delicious. I really enjoyed it so much. I bought the Elmo and cookie monster figures. But it was really all beautifully done. Thank you Mary cake!! You did not disappoint.

I needed a cake for a 50th birthday and Mery Cake did NOT disappoint! Their communication was A+ throughout the process. I love that you can get a quote online! The design was exactly as I requested, but what’s even better is that it was DELICIOUS! I’m not a fan of the taste of fondant, but this cake was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be ordering from them again!
