Roys Linden used to be good when it first opened, however now every time we place an order online, they don't have various items (that were featured on their menu) and they eventually cancel your online order. This happened on 3 separate occasions! Or if you call in to place an order by phone, they don't have stew chicken they don't have curry chicken or and no rice and peas. Like what? Why are they even open if you don't have most of what's featured on your menu? Try Cool Runnings in Roselle instead. They have whatever is on their menu.

1st of all are the hours listed the real hours. I went last night at 8:03pm. I was informed they are closing and I wasn't allowed to place an order. I work in customer service and all I will say is we must who serve the public have a pleasant, professional demeanor at all times?. I love the food here and will not discredit that by 1 so not good experience. Honestly I've always been greeted warmly at the Linden store . I will chalk this up to a person just being tired and had a long day. Coaching moment as a customer service manager. Going over and beyond goes along way in these turbulent economic times. Remember a restaurant only stays open because of satisfied customers?. Perhaps the young lady up front isn't the right individual to represent the brand. Background workers are just as important!!!!

The fish is always fresh, and the establishment is always clean. Catfish and whiting fried to perfection! And all the soul food sides are just as tasty. They also serve Jamaican food, which is also very good and exactly what you would expect from a quality Jamaican restaurant. I can always expect excellent service and great food.
Great chicken. Wish they would sell breast. I also wish that dishes like curry chicken or jerk chicken were made regularly. I don’t know why BOB do this. They advertise dishes that they never have and there is a young lady at the front desk , I don’t know where she came from but she is quite rude. I ran into her at least twice. Not only did she have a very nasty attitude with me but I could over hear her doing it to other customers too. I brought family that was visiting by the restaurant to get food and was embarrassed because they too picked up her negative energy. They told me not to bring them back there ever again. I think they are right and I’m considering not going back for any more food until that women in the front is gone. Good luck with your business, maybe I’ll try Newark.

Good afternoon... Today I sent my wife in to get us 2 fish sandwiches and some shrimp which to my surprise ran us 43 dollars. I should have said never mind and left then but i told her to go ahead and order it. When she got the food i opened it up to find 4 of the smallest whiting i ever seen. How do u charge so much but give so little. I was angry ?. I wanted my money back but i knew with me being black and angry it wouldn't end well. (They say we are aggressive people...smh). I rate this place 1 star very cheap with the food but big on the price I will never go back here again. I work to hard for my money ? I was left very disappointed ?.

Was recommended Roy's fish in Linden who mentioned a couple of times to try them Ordered the food over the phone,was picking it up,girl told me 30 minutes arrived 45 minutes after making the order and it still wasn't ready and a lot of people waiting for their orders. Asked the server a couple of times how long the food would be and we got it in 10 minutes after asking. The catfish we had with Mac and cheese,green beans,Collard greens and potato salad was very good,everything was just right,so that I would highly recommend My friends son got the jerk Chicken with rice and peas,Chicken was tough and not good quality,the rice and peas were dry and packed flavor,not good. So a big yes on the Catfish and sides,Maybe it was just that day but the jerk Chicken was not good as was rice and peas.
Parking: Service is kinda lax,like the girl taking the order over the phone sounded bitter,just because it maybe busy that's no excuse.

I drive past all the time and finally went inside, and I am glad I did! Everything was DELICIoUS! The fish and shrimp were well seasoned, crispy and fresh. I will be going back.

I ordered through Uber eats. The food is way to overpriced for the quality. Food was cold, fish was soggy, Mac and cheese was unseasoned. Also they forgot to put my cornbread in the bag. For $55, I’m not impressed.

I spent $28 in total for the whiting dinner with collard greens & Mac. The fish were Small but they tasted the best in the whole meal. The greens were mushy and the Mac&Cheese tasted like it was cooked with another food so the taste was off. To much money spent to have wasted it.
