I spent $28 in total for the whiting dinner with collard greens & Mac. The fish were Small but they tasted the best in the whole meal. The greens were mushy and the Mac&Cheese tasted like it was cooked with another food so the taste was off. To much money spent to have wasted it.

Good morning people I had saw this restaurant Roy fish fry on the back of my receipt and decided to check it out when I got off work and when I pull up it was nobody there I spend 50 on the worst food of my life the fish and the shrimp taste bad you could taste the old oil that they used to fried them in omg the worst experience of my life working hard and try to support your black owned businesses and they food no good!!

I have had a lot of seafood in my life and this establishment is the most unflavorful establishment that I’ve ever been to. I will not be going back there ever hopefully they improve their flavors. I also wanted to sample the macaroni and cheese before buying it, but this was after I paid $26 for whiting and 4 pieces of shrimp. Unfortunately I was told by an employee that they were not able to do that, which is a ridiculous response to a paying (or even non-paying customer. By the way, $26 is astronomical for flavorless food - I wouldn’t have been bothered if my experience had been better overall.

Very nice and clean restaurant, service was good the lady who took the order was nice and she made sure to ask specifics. The only fault I asked for my fish fried hard it was a bit too soft and a lil too salty. Otherwise I'd definitely give a 5. I will definitely try again.

The fish sandwich is 4 fried fish fillets in a box and a baggie of 2 soggy grocery store bread slices for $14. Fries sold separately. If you want lettice and tomato, comes on the side for 2 dollars. The fries are soggy. I could taste the raw potato. I decide to get unhealthy food to enjoy it, but it was unhealthy and unenjoyable. Like eating junk just because. Also there's no trash can or bathroom.

I always want to support our people and give them a chance, but this is one of the reasons why we cannot get to where we need to be in society. for one the first time I went there. I got a two-piece Whitey and six jumbo fried shrimp. The shrimp were good. The two piece Whitey was smallest pieces of fish I have ever seen . Didn’t realize it until I got home was not happy at all they were hollow and not season at all. . I’ve said I would take another chance and see what happens. Customer service was really good. I ordered the six piece jumbo shrimp again as well as two piece catfish again the catfish was not seasoned at all and they took one piece of catfish and cut it in half to make too. I paid $12 For two pieces of fish and french fries, that’s was not what I was expecting two pieces of fish with french fries. I sent my husband to pick it up never again that is just horrible I feel very taken advantage of. So yes, Roy’s Fish is a no for me.
