I’ve been vegan for 3 months and it’s real hard to find good restaurants this one is it especially if u are struggling letting the meat and cheese go the flavor is amazing has that Dominican taste touch flavor it’s amazing I travel 40 mins everyday just to eat from here and it’s worth it I promise if I could give them 10 stars I would!!!!!

We had an unexpected stay in Newark after our flight was cancelled and decided to try this place out. It did not disappoint! We had fresh soursop juice that was delicious. We also tried the mofonguitos appetizer which was tasty and super filling. The Cubano was so good! The seitan and mushroom combo with just the right amount of pickles and mustard will leave you wanting more. Fries were also delish, prices were reasonable, and portions were filling. My partner had the chopped cheese, which he also enjoyed. If I lived nearby, this would be a regular stop for me.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu
Okay , let's first start with I understand this a small business and I am for it . Supporting the culture as well. But when it comes to management this place is awful. I don't live in the area , so I was happy to get a chance to try the place I even waited for them to open and waited for my food no problem. Fries were made ahead of time so they were cold and soggy. I get my food home and try it , it was dry and it started to smell onions awful but they were strong like they had be sitting for a"minute . So check your containers to make sure it is all sealed or vent it out. My food was dropping out of the bag as well. I've had mofongo before so I actually ordered 2 orders hoping for the best and was very disappointed in the quality of the food. The cup for Mofongo was hard and dry , not what I am used to, didn't seem freshly mashed . I also ordered nachos as well . And when I finally got a hold of the owner he accused me of being someone else and I told him I still had the order and could bring it back in when I had free time the next time . Thinking hey I'm not lying I have the uneaten untouched food. I call today to confirm that he is in before I make the trip. And I'm laughed at saying he told me to come in as a ruse because of course the food is going to be dry 2 days later. He has not intention of fixing the situation. What kind of owner plays games with his customer?? So my recommendation is don't order double of anything try it first and then add extra . Also Go when it is busy if your looking for options that are GF and vegan but don't expect good customer service or if you have an issue. And trying your food inside the restaurant because it is their policy " to not refund consumed food or give credits or refunds. No sign posted . For my my food wasn't consumed , and the owner again is rude and over talked me and again tried to say I was a a scam artist. This is why small businesses, and sadly those owned by minorities fail because sometime we take criticism or think with our ego. Karma is real beware of the customer service here , they are a nickel and dime business and are not my typical vegan business. Again don't order double of anything try it first if you like it great otherwise. It is principle that I leave the review , the guy who worked last night was decent and apologized . The owner and his front staff today poor customer service skills. Also the menu prices are wrong and I was charged about $2 extra per item so ask for an updated price menu because online and in store are the old prices and there is no sign saying menu prices increased. Nor do they advertise their menu.- a disappointed GF vegan :( I'll keep looking for options . But hopefully the business does wellBecause they are serving a niche market. Oh watch out for those who are GF because I still had systems of gluten consumption after so not sure if they share those foods areas with the non GF food.

I could not recommend this place more. Originally we door dashed the and there was mix up and the dasher dropped off the wrong order. One call to the store and they completely took care of the situation made calls and treated us with the most respect. After going to get the correct order we were helped and treated so kindly! Not to mention the food was great. The sandwiches were great and o can’t wait to try more of the creative vegan spin on all the food.

This was our first time visiting the Vegan Factory and were very impressed. After reading some reviews we were not sure what to expect, but we are happy to have chosen to visit. While we are not vegan we are opening our eyes to different more healthy options. From the time we walked in and were greeted with a smile to the time we left and were wished a safe travel home the experience was professional and delightful. Ample parking, soft music in the background, and a clean environment made for a wonderful experience.Our server explained the menu options and pointed out the popular menu items. She allowed us to peruse the menu and came back to offer any answers to the questions that we asked. We settle on the Mofonguitos appetizer and the choice was phenomenal. From presentation to taste this was a fantastic choice. For a meal we chose the Cubano and the Rice and Bean combo, both of them were really good. We cannot wait to come back and try many other options.Lastly I would like to express how great our server was, and I believe that the owner stopped for a minute to ask about our meal. After seeing some reviews it is necessary to emphasize our pleasure with everything about our meal.Parking: We parked directly behind the restaurant.

The girl behind the counter is the worst!! She will purposely leave items out of your order. When the order cones she'll say that it's complete, until you check it. Then without acknowledging her statement of it being complete. She will then say, oh. We're waiting for that. She'll also lie about how long it will take. The gentleman is good.
Nice vegan spot I found while out and about today. Good menu selection of Dominican/American dishes, friendly staff and very clean restaurant. The food was delicious 10/10. We got the vegan chimi, bacon cheeseburger, plantains and tamarind juice.
