As someone who has never tried African food, let me just say: WOW. I got recommended to try the egusi with goat and pounded yam from a friend. I had no idea what to expect but will definitely be coming back! 10/10 food, surpassed expectations. I can’t even identify exactly what seasonings were used or what base was in the dish, but the pounded yam was great dipping into the egusi and the goat very flavorful.

Was a little pricier that I usually would go for a take-out meal, but you are getting goat from it which makes sense. Plus it had that “home cooked” feel about it, which was worth it. I scarfed it all down in the car, didn’t even make it home to eat, and it doesn’t leave you feeling bloated or too full, yet incredibly filling. Sad it’s taken me 30 years to find food like this!

It was soooo good! We had the fufu platters with chicken and goat for the first time and we’re definitely going to be ordering here again! Would post photos but it’s just empty platters now lol

I got the jollof an goat lunch special for $16.99 to only get 2 pieces of goat that I could actually eat and the rest bones is ignorant and atrocious..Jollof taste was good but some was crunchy like bottom of pot..I spent almost $40 here and I won't be back..1st impressions..Not like was crowded no one was in there so was no rush...I want food made wit love like u want someone to eat ya food...I'm good off them..

THE FOOD WAS NOT MADE WITH LOVE…!!!
The cassava leaf was oily and flavorless. My boyfriend had the oxtail and they were good but the rice n beans were so watery and flavorless also the cabbage was steamed but again flavorless. This was like my 3rd or 4th time and sadly I was disappointed once again.

I went to try FuFu for the first time with my friends, we were greeted so nicely and welcoming. They had amazing music in the back and even let us stay and eat there even though they were closed. It was a 10/10 experience and 10000/10 food. We will definitely be back!!

Food is fantastic I’m here now and just cleared my plate of fish was pepper sauce jollof rice and cabbage with plantain egusi and fufu.. please come you won’t be disappointed

Please don't go here places is so horrible my food was so mushy an prices don't match the portions One of the owners her attitude is horrible need to shut this place down looking for great food in Sickerville or up the street. I ordered ordered delivery from here and it was some of the nastiest food I've had in a while. I barely got any oxtail with meat the pieces were so small. The mac looked looked but it tasted like kraft from the box and it was mushy with sugar added to it, like sickly sweet. The only edible thing on my plate was the cabbage and barely that. The rice didn't taste fresh. Everything lacked flavor.

Fish was not whole when I ordered a whole snapper and very tiny more like only tail of fish not enough fish for money very disappointed Jollof rice wis so so

Maybe it was my fault for ordering something other than what is typically considered African or Jamaican food. I ordered macaroni and cheese and greens. Took about forty minutes for just two side dishes. Canned greens (flavor was good), boxed macaroni and cheese (maybe a store brand of velveeta shells). Macaroni and cheese was soupy with a sweet taste to it. Way too much money for subpar instant food.

This used to be my favorite place to get egusi soup. Over the past few times, there has been no taste or spice. It’s actually trash. Not sure if y’all end up getting a new cook but I won’t be back.

Not the best but will get the job done! Overpriced for the portion sizes they offer. I ordered the large cassava leaf and rice which ended up being a large rice with cassava leaf. And was that palm butter flavor. Overall, not the worst, but just disappointing

I paid $30 for okra stew and fufu and it was only a small little bowl! Meat wasn’t fresh. Looks like it should have been a lunch special or something
