I have moved to this area a few years ago and about a year ago I tried Chan's Garden and finally found my favorite Chinese Restaurant I've been looking for and have been going back every week or two. They do deliver with a 15 dollar minimum and that's sensible but I usually call to place a order that is always ready in 10 minutes. The people who work there that I think are the owners are always so friendly and polite making sure I have everything I need. The boneless spare ribs are the best I ever had and the General Tao's Chicken is out of this world. I also suggest the Chinese pizza and every type of egg rolls and spring rolls are another favorite of mine. I like to try different dishes even dishes I've never tried in my life and I surprised myself how good everything was being a picky eater. A lot of Chinese Restaurants started to use smaller containers which means smaller portions but at Chan's Garden the containers and portions are large and filled to the top with their great food. I'm older and I always forget to take pictures but the next time I go there I'll take some pictures and add them to this review so you can see for yourself.Parking: It's in a busy strip store and I never had a problem finding a spot close to the restaurant.

I've lived in this area for almost a yr now and they by far have the best chicken wings. And I like that I can get them tossed in General Tso sauce. Lol mein is so so (Lol Mein is My go to w/every Chinese restaurant & a deal breaker on whether I will try other menu items). I'll update if I decide to try other items. But for now, they'll be My go to spot.

Egg fu young was so salty, and I couldn't figure out why. Approximately two hours after eating, I was so unbelievably sick. I think they knew the eggs were bad and salted them to cover the smell and taste. I used to recommend them, but I will definitely be getting my take put from elsewhere.

I went out on a limb and tried this place. I regret it. I ordered online. 41 bucks to feed us. Got 2 general tsod, a Kung pao chicken, and beef with broccoli. The spice was overwhelming on the chicken dishes. And my beef and broccoli had a seafood smell and I found a piece of shrimp in it. Gross. We threw it away. That's evidence of a dirty kitchen with terrible cross contamination. Thank God we aren't allergic. Never again. Also the fried rice was nasty. Onions were big and raw. No other veggies and it was soo dry. Beware and avoid at all costs.

Never have I experienced a place that doesn’t deliver within 2 miles..years ago we were happy with Chan’s until one order was wrong..husband called to tell them about it…owner who insisted that’s what he ordered…wrong…for years he has ordered the same item over n over again..they were the only place that charged for xtra protein with no veggies…when the owner insisted that’s what we ordered we stopped for at least 15 years..tonight we said we would give them a try…elected to place order on line..went smoothly when Chan’s called me to go over order..asked me to spell my address..I did…well someone else said that it’s out of their area..too far..ok never again will we call…it’s was $70 order..must be nice to be able to turn down business these days..we are 2.7 miles straight down Chews to Somerdale..I have walked right pass them…btw they are 20% higher than other establishments in area…no stars fr me n I see others have done the same…

Fried rice is lacking! Never had shrimp fried rice made with only schrimp rice and onions. Won't be going back.

Everything I ordered was delicious. The ONLY thing I didn't love was the Chinese pizza. I'm more used to the scallion pancake type. It wasn't bad, just not the flavor I'm used to. All the other food was great.
