Horrible experience and horrible staff. They waited 20 min to tell us they don’t have what 1 of us ordered…. Then they brought the other the wrong plate…. I asked to speak to a manager they brought another server. The waitress was laughing. Ruined date night without the kids.

Really disappointed. I’ve been to this place multiple times and never had anything negative to say. This time around, the food was not great, the atmosphere was negative & the staff were extremely rude. Really hate to say that I won’t be coming back.

I actually usually enjoy the food, drinks and customer service at Don Tequilas…. However I will no longer be going as frequently as I previously did! Why? Well I went in a Wednesday and paid $16 for in drink! A Patron Margarita! Their prices are now too high ( it was happy hour and even the specials were priced really high)! Maybe that is why only me and a couple were in there at happy hour…. The staff was just sitting there in a huddle eating and looked at me and did not move until I waved one over! This was so surprising because when Cairo is there the service is prompt! I even had to signal for my bill…. So the prices are going up and service going down…. There are too many other places to patronize! Or better yet drink at home.

The food, depending on what you get, slaps hard! For example, I really like their Cuban dish (bistec a lo pobre) but their mofongo is just ok.

However, the service *consistently* sucks. We’ve never had a repeat waiter/waitress, but they’ve always been very slow, forgetful, and two of them didn’t even know the menu that well! (We’ve been here about two handful of times)

They know very limited English, which is not the end of the world because they cater to a hispanic clientele at the end of the day, but its worth mentioning.

I've lived in this area for about 10 yrs now and this restaurant is deff one of my families favorites. Very homey styled food drinks are so good and strong😉 everything authentic and there's always a vibe at the bar

One of the worst experiences I ever had in my life. The food is horrible the staff is horrible, the place is filthy and they can’t even get your order right. The rice was hard and the beans were cold. I told them what I wanted in Spanish and they still couldn’t get the order right. The young kid behind the bar had the nerve to tell me how you Spanish and you don’t speak Spanish. I don’t even know how she’s able to work there and she looks like she can’t be no more than 18 years old. The few bites that I did eat literally made me sick to my stomach
