I’ve been going to Driftaway Café for many years since Fall of 2019, and it’s always been a good, dependable place. When I first went in 2019 when they still had the tiny indoor seating, and I enjoyed it. When March 2020 came, everything shifted to their outdoor window and porch area. They enlarged the indoor space and kitchen, so outdoor seating was the new plan for customers, and adjusted to it. It has the wrap-around porch and plenty of seating.

I do miss the picnic table that was on the grass and hope they bring something like that back, because I loved sitting in the sunshine. I usually stopped by while running errands and often took my order to go, but it’s also a nice spot if you want to meet a friend.

The only downside is when cars sit idling near the porch—it makes me leave. I wish there could be a kind sign reminding people to turn off their vehicles so everyone can enjoy their food and coffee.

Their food is the most reason I go as it's cooked from scratch, delicious items, the coffee is locally roasted which is excellent, and it’s been one of few favorite when in that area.

I have never had a better cup of coffee. I have no clue what coffee is used or wizardry is done (specifically speaking on their iced coffee) but it is incredible. The type of drink you just want more of. Once I was waiting for the food to be done and drank the whole cup and ordered another one. So many great seasonal flavors. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing too (hoping pepper jack is added as a cheese option).

PS: Yes wait times on weekends can be astronomical but I’d rather a local place have a ton of business then be empty :)

They have a big selection of coffee and sandwichs which all are great. I end up ordering something different every time. They are very nice and efficient nothing takes too long and the prices are good. I didn't mind waiting because the place was nice and peaceful

I got an iced coffee with cream and vanilla, i don’t know if it was the type of vanilla syrup but the drink tasted extremely off. the vanilla just didn’t really add much to it besides a little bit of sweetness. for how much it was i wouldn’t go back. i like the vibe of the place, not really in a great part of Lindenwold though (what part of Lindenwold is good to be fair). judging from how the owners respond to reviews below 3 stars i’m sure they will harass this review.

First time and excited to go but sorry to say customer service by the young woman at counter was sub sub par - unfriendly, indifferent, unaccommodating, e.g. doesn’t care to understand that when a customer asks for “cream” in their coffee that means half n half not some artificial nonsense creamer, etc. etc. Atmosphere and surroundings excellent though. Will return and expect real customer service

Awesome 🤩 place, coffee, breakfast, honey, atmosphere and staff. Cannot wait to be there this fall enjoying my mocha and the nice cool air while rocking on one of their rocking chairs in their large wrap balcony.

I have been here twice. The breakfast food is good but there isn’t anything special about it. The coffee I had was absolutely amazing! I had a seasonal coffee. The wait time for your items is INSANE! So you can go to the place and order in person or you can order online. Because it’s a small local shop I think the weekends can be incredibly hectic. The vibe is so adorable and classic. When it isn’t crawling with people I’m sure it would be a pleasent spot to sit and eat. We did eat there once and there was a conversation happening so loud at a table diagonal to us that we practically were apart of it. Even the table beside us looked uncomfortable. I can imagine this place is great to visit during the week on a cool fall morning. Good luck with your visit. I will say this… the coffee is worth the visit! Oh and the prices are pretty steep so be prepared to pay.

My favorite cafe of all time. I LOVE this place, good service, good food, good drinks, good vibes. Beautiful little spot with lovey seating set up, and there's a cream puffery attached to the cafe and it's also to die for. My favorite is the pistachio and strawberry, I recommend.
