I ordered a gyro which was supposed be on pita bread with tzatziki sauce. They put it on a "hoagie roll", no tzatziki sauce, hardly any meat and sent two packets of hot sauce.

For what it is , it always hits the marks on fast, affordable and late night eats. Wing zings are really good ( ask for them extra well done. Cheese fries are solid and usually are still hot and crispy. Regular chicken is mid and need a little of the hot sauce which is really good.

So nice to have a Halaal pizzeria nearby. I got an X-Large pizza, half Hawaiian & half pepperoni, and a Large Stromboli. Both were Excellent; the toppings were generous, and the crust was fluffy and chewy. And that says a lot, considering I don't normally go for pizza crust. Needless to say, they seem to know their bread here. Highly recommend, and definitely plan on coming back.

Honestly, I am huge pizza eater. I have tried and reviewed plenty of pizza places in South Jersey. This place just opened up near me and wanted to give them a try. First time I went I got a slice and garlic knots. It was average to say the least. Then I stayed away for about 2 weeks and said let me give them 1 more try maybe it was first week gitters and they need to dial in their process. Well, second and last. Pizza was just as bad little ceaser is a step up. The garlic knots are some of the worst I ever had. Mozzarella sticks were so over cooked you could barely tell it had any chesee in it. Overall 2 stars was me being nice. To call this place a pizza place is kinda an insult to other pizza restaurant owners. Another key factor is the price! They are charging amongst the highest prices in the area for their pizza. Lastly, they have zero tables so you can't even try it fresh as the place is the size of a shoe box and take one step in their and the last just looks very bad.

It’s ok. I wouldn’t buy again. Very chewy and the pepperoni is to toasted for my liking. Has more cheese than sauce which I’m ok with. It was basic, if someone orders it I’ll eat it and it’ll taste ok but not enough for me to spend $18 on a large that looks like a medium.

You know what it is and why you came....lol It's the late night spot for the munchies(any kind of munchies, you can think of)... My family sends me here all the time when I don't feel like frying chicken or everyone is up past 12am and gets hungry.

If you are larger than the average woman or small man, this place will be tough since the tables are small with attached seats that won't fit a large man. Besides that, there is hip music playing with bass turned up a little, enough to be disturbing for dinner. Now the food! The ramen was very good if a little small. The chicken Gupta's was also very good.

Sketchy Neighborhood? Check. Utilitarian Block Building? Check. Defunct Check Cashing Business? Check. Take-out Only Friend Chicken Joint with Bulletproof Ordering Window? Check. Yep. You just know this is where you're going to get the best gyro you've had in 20 years, especially if you're a preppy middle aged white guy that The Ex-Wife described as... "It's almost like God ran out of common sense." The New Girlfriend hails him as... "Such a retard." Critics agree. Ken don't give a shit. And that's what I found here: a really top notch lamb gyro, which would have been utterly perfect if possible to have eaten at all neatly. The fellow behind the shield went a little crazy with the tzatziki, and since there isn't a table in the place, I'm very happy I didn't try to eat it in the car. The meat was in big, thick chunks, the pita toasted perfectly, and the veggies were fresh. It wouldn't seem like putting three different prepared foods together with a garden salad would be difficult to do well, but experience proves differently. This fellow gets the right stuff from the right companies. Another item that emerged from the slot were a half dozen excellent panko-breaded fried shrimp. Hot, cheap, and clean, too, because this shop has the pretense of being Halal, even if not actually claiming it; they proudly advertise that they don't serve pork. How's the chicken? I have no clue. I can tell you, however, that if you need something to roll a blunt in, you've come to the right place. Those days are way behind me, but as good as what I had was, I can imagine that the food would be even better if I was REALLY hungry. Wink.

Got a craving for wings? Beef patties? That's why I had to go to Crown Fried chicken. Got a family size container of wings. Was not in the least bit interested in hot sause on my wings. No hot sauce talk ova heeeeeeere. Keep it over thereeeeeeee.

I don't understand exactly why it bothers the other reviewer that they sell tobacco products as well. What matters is the food. As with any Crown Friend it is perfect for a nice urban chicken joint. Fried perfectly crisp with tasty spices. The perfect place for when you missing true friend chicken from the city. I would give it 5 stars aside from the collard greens being disappointing and the interior of the building itself and lighting need to be a bit spruced up. Other than that, you know what you're getting and it hits that spot.
