I'm very particular about getting good Italian Ice (water ice). I prefer it smooth and sweet like you get at carnivals or boardwalks. I don't want it full of fruit or with too crunchy a texture, Fruit salad snow-cone? Hard pass. Anyway, I can confirm that Scoopy Lou's does it correctly. Not only that, but they have way more flavors than I've ever seen at one place before.

I cannot recommend this place enough!! I rarely leave reviews but this place deserves all the praise. Their handmade water ice is SOOOO good. My favorite flavor so far is pina colada. The ice cream is soooooo creamy and flavorful. They have so many amazing options, the prices are amazing, and the staff is super friendly. I fell in love with this place. It’s 25 min away from me and you bet I’ll make the drive everytime I want ice cream! I’ll never go to Rita’s again.

Touch the ice cream cones with bare hands when it could have easily been avoided by holding them with tissues. Also, listening to someone else when being spoken to by customer.

I tried this ice cream place with my 5 year old little boy tonight for the first time ever and was excited! My son enjoyed his ice cream, but I was sadly disappointed with having ordered the hot fudge sunday only to receive vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup and NOT actual HOT FUDGE, which I was expecting on a $6 hot fudge Sunday. 😞. If I wanted chocolate syrup over soft serve, I would have ordered that. I had an infant with me as well and that's WHY I didn't walk all the way back up from my car with two young kids to see if it could be fixed. I'm not sure I will be returning or able to recommend this place to anyone else. I was surprised because I had seen good reviews on this business but for my first time to have this happen, that wasn't impressive or good at all. 👎☹️
