Carelli's Pizza

I recently hosted my daughter first communion at Carelli’s and was beyond impressed. Gio was beyond helpful and accommodating and service staff was attentive and on top of it all!! We had calamari to start, which was out of this world with an amazing red sauce loaded with fresh basil. The focaccia bread was warm and delicious. The entrees were also outstanding and portions enough for 2! I highly recommend this place! They gained a customer in me and everyone that attended the party! Big thanks to Gio for letting my party vision come to life!!!

Unadvertised junk fee added to bill

Highly recommend their chicken bacon ranch slice for lunch. Filling and delicious.

Parking: Parking can be touch and go depending on the time of day. Busy little strip mall.

There’s an up charge for certain pastas. However, no one tells you and not listed on menu. Told the owner that I wasn’t charged in the past and that we should have been told when the waitress gave us choices. The owner could have cared less. So sad that they don’t seem to care about their customers.

Great place for dinner night. A lot of things on the menu that is delicious. Not too crazy about the pizza though. But the calamari, lobster ravioli chicken parm etc all delicious. Great atmosphere and the waitress are lovely.

The pizza was good but the service was not. My family ate here today. My husband arrived ahead of me and ordered a pie with a CC. When I got there I looked at the menu and asked him to order me a rice ball. He paid with a $20 bill that I gave him. Our food comes out and when my husband goes to leave the man, who didn’t seem that pleasant to begin with, starts interrogating my husband about paying for the food. He said that the bill showed partially settled. Mind you, he was the one that took the money for the rice ball. My husband explained to him how he payed and he continues to question my husband about drink (we didn’t have any). I’m not sure why he would suspect our family (we were with our two kids) would try to get over for a rice ball or pizza pie but it was very insulting the way he questioned him. Give me a break. Maybe don’t treat your customers like thieves and they will return!

I would recommend their pizza. I’ve tried just about every specialty pie they have to offer and none have disappointed yet. Their eggplant and grandma’s are some of ny favorites.

The pepperoni pizza was absolutely amazing! ?I live in ATL but grew up here. I’m so glad to be back for my annual visit. NNJ seriously has the best pizza!!!

Great food, great atmosphere. You can do grab and go pizza or sit down full course meal! Try it out, you won't be disappointed! My favorite is the grilled chicken and broccoli rabe!
