The Great Notch Inn is a fantastic place to hang out, especially in nice weather. This friendly, welcoming spot features live music with no cover charge, and the owner is always attentive, ensuring you don't wait long for a drink. The bar's interior is cozy, with a large front porch perfect for enjoying music and company. With its wood interiors, interesting wall decor, and kind owner, this old-school spot has a unique charm, reminiscent of Nashville. It is a historic place in NJ, being the last standing type “Roadhouse” around. The Notch Family keeps growing, and visitors can’t wait to see what great bands will be playing there this year. Despite being old, it’s been rebuilt and remains a beloved landmark, sure to stand the test of time. Recently, WFMU had a remote broadcast with two awesome bands rocking the house, and many people showed up to have a blast. It’s nice they added a back way to get in and out without going on Rt. 46. Parking can fill up quick, but parking on the grass is allowed. Visitors have expressed how nice everyone in the place is, and they look forward to returning for more good times.
