Was in area and stopped in for first time. purchased lobster, shrimp, and stuffed clams, The stuffed clams were spectacular. Unlike any other I had before. The service was over the top friendly. I normally do my shopping via Amazon, but this will be a weekly thing for me now. Ate shrimp on my way home, and will be making lobster rolls tomorrow.

Bought sack of tiny little neck clams today for linguini with clams. $40 kinda expensive but so be it. Everything in this place sells for premium prices. Was helped by older man who seemed to be the owner. At first he said he didnt have any but then found that he did have one sack. He put them in a brown bag. I paid him $40 which he put in his pocket not the register and was home in 15 min. Upon handing them to my wife, I noticed that nearly half of the clams were completely open. Not just a little open… Completely open. Dead. I brought them right back. He refunded my money. Thankfully, I knew that open clams meant they were dead and unsafe to eat. Someone not knowing that would’ve eaten them and likely gotten very sick. Shame on this place for selling clearly expired unsafe seafood. Needless to say will not be returning…

This establishment clearly posted the following Thanksgiving holiday open time period on Google.Thursday Thanksgiving Holiday Times 10:30am-3:00pm.I called on the Monday before Thanksgiving to place a Thanksgiving order. I spoke with Eric. The first thing I asked him is if they were still taking orders for Thanksgiving day pick up? He said yes. I give him my order and confirmed that I would pick it up Thursday, Thanksgiving morning between 11-11:30am. He said that's fine.Now, it's Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I get a call at 3:55pm from a rude individual, with a serious attitude problem, asking me where I am, and if I'm picking up my order? I tried to explain that I was told they were open Thanksgiving morning and I was picking it up then. I barely got to say that while he was interrupting me saying they weren't open Thanksgiving. He said, that is a fact, and it's even listed as closed on the internet. Meanwhile as he's ignorantly speaking to me, I'm looking right at Google were it's listed as being open on Thanksgiving. No mention of "holiday hours may differ" for Thursday. Only for Friday after Thanksgiving. I run a business that is internet dependent. So I'm very aware how Google hours can vary according to holidays. This one was specific as to their Thanksgiving hours being open.They screwed up, their worker who took the order screwed up, and the caller continued his arrogant attitude and ignorant statements, instead of trying to resolve the matter as a smart businessman and considerate shop owner. Be careful when placing an order with this place. And be aware of attitude issues from the person that appears to "run the show."As for the quality of their food, I can't attest to that. But to advertise as a fresh seafood market and only have one size of cooked/cleaned shrimp available for the most recognized US based holiday of the year, is unusual.
