Ordered from Grubhub (where they still go by Palumbo's). I used to order from Palumbo's once every month ot so. I will not eat from Family Tavola Pizza again.

The first issue occured when i got a call that they were out of turkey so couldn't provide one of the subs I ordered. I said no to replacing with a different item.

The food was the second issue. The Detroit style pizza was smaller than advertised, and the crust was way overcooked. It tasted like Ellio's frozen pizza with no sauce and better cheese. The Italian sub was underwhelming in almost every way. Very light on the meat and cheese. Same with the lettuce and tomato. I could see they sprinkled a small amount of oil and vinegar on the sub but the bread was still bone dry.

The third issue is they decided to charge for the item they couldn't deliver. I hope stealing $8.50 (the price of the sub) was worth losing a repeat customer.

Food is high quality at affordable prices!! Perfect for families. Casual dining with relaxed atmosphere. Food was amazing:, the chicken parm eggrolls are fried heaven and veal chop rivaled high end restaurant taste without the five star prices!!! Highly recommended!!

OMG I just called the restaurant and what a nice guy Bob answered the phone. He was accommodating and pleasant. I didn’t even eat the food yet, but I give a five star review already!

Save yourself a trip from going to New York. New York Pizza & Food. Right here in Little silver New Jersey. I've been a commuter from N.J. to New York. For over 33 years. And I have to tell you something. Family Tavola Pizza is not far from a decent pizza. And you don't have to waste gas and tolls. All hop on the train. All you have to do is Hop on over to Family Tavola Pizza & Restaurants. You have nothing to lose. 😘👍❤️🫶 P.S. Beautiful People too.
