I spent Christmas alone and decided to order in because I was basically stuck with no vehicle so I chose to Order from Boston market because from what I remember Boston market was always good. So when the driver came, I tipped him again simply because it was Christmas because I had already tipped him in the app so as I sit down to eat my food, this is literally the worst meal. I have ever eaten from a restaurant. The macaroni and cheese. It tastes like I can't even I can't even explain it like chalk. It's tasteless that the the mashed potatoes have absolutely no flavor the chicken is almost raw and the sweet potatoes don't taste like anything like sweet potatoes, all you taste is cinnamon. There's not one marshmallow when they're anything , so i'm confused as to what boston market charged me for because I can't eat none of this and when I call their number to explain this to them and their number in Lodi NJ is off. I just got robbed with NO GUN!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST!!!!!

Before we ordered I noticed three other people before me leaving their orders there l, leaving angry. I thought customers can be rude sometimes, and didnt think anything of it. I go to order food for my office (the day before Thanksgving.) We order food the Family Meal for 6. As we get to pay, we are then asked if we want corn bread. I said it's on the menu, so yes. The cashier replied with, oh no, it's a holiday so it's extra today. - it's not about the money at that point. It's on your menu. Honor your menu, or tell us before we order. We left without the food.

MAN! I see why Boston Market is going under. As an former employee 15 years ago , this place USED to be where you can get a Thanksgiving style meal FATS. but the food now is HORRIBLE! EVERYTHING had no flavor even the chicken! I guess thats why BM continues to sell sauces to make up for their flaovrless chicken. Came here for a moment of nostalgia but ended up regretting my decision. Got a family of 3 meal with 2 quarter whites, MAC, MASH, and SWEET potatoes. ALL NASTY! THE place is NOT what it USED to BE!

Got there; doors were open; went it only to be told they were closed??? Bergen County Sheriffs & Police were there. What happened? We were really disappointed we couldn't get our food as 3 of us were looking forward to it.
Looks extremely worn out dirty floors sorry bathroom cups are cheap The urinal looks worn out. The baby seat is dirty. The atmosphere is completely dead. What happened to this Bosten Market and Essex Street? Is Bosten Market going out?

Ordered a chicken pot pie off of ubereats. Didn’t call didn’t ask just gave me some random garbage I did not ask for. Also the macaroni and cheese tastes like water. This location is TRASH and at least I got my money back from UberEats. Thanks for wasting my time though, your food is garbage and your location sucks.

Unfortunately, I have no choice but to give it one star otherwise I wouldn’t even give this place any stars they would get zero stars for me…. Been eating Boston market for the longest and this place on Essex Street, not sure if this is the only one left but this place is very horrible. Very disgusting… got the meatloaf dinner very very disgusting. Got a half a chicken which looks like a quarter of a chicken and it’s dry as hell. Stuffing is ice cold…. I should get my $33 back. I paid for this because this is going in the garbage. I wouldn’t even give this food to my dog. Horrible

This place is being used as if it’s a Boston Market. 2 employees not wearing a uniform that says Boston Market One was eating a chicken 🍗 right on the counter. Soda Machine had sour orange soda. The door was filthy. I don’t recommend this place at all.
