We Have been here a few times before and the food was good, the server was pleasant and attentive. However, we went there this evening and it was a total miss. My buddy ordered the chicken thighs which were very dry so he sent them back and decided to play it safe and ordered a burger Medium rare it came out raw. It was terrible. We did let the server know and just asked her to Let the cook know that the food was not cooked properly. We paid for everything except the dry chicken thighs. Hopefully they'll train their cooks as serving raw meat can be harmful.

DISAPPOINTED by the extremely disrespectful service at the bar, I want to begin by saying I’ve NEVER written a review for a dining experience. My partner and I frequent the local spots in Lodi when we want a quick bite or drink, and we’ve had drinks and food at Rebar multiple times. We’ve had that meatball starter at least 4 times. Typically we sit closer to the window at a table and have never had an issue with service.
Tonight was a completely different story. Behind the bar during the Friday night shift, the smaller female bartender with dark hair, glasses and face piercings was beyond disrespectful to both of us as well as to other staff right in front of us. Everything we requested was responded to with anger and confrontation.
Imagine asking for a menu after sitting for multiple minutes and being told: “Could you hold on? I’m doing like five things right now.”
Imagine ordering and having the server walk away mid sentence to do something else. She angrily asked “ARE YOU SURE? Because I don’t want to put it in and then have to comp it” when I clearly told her my order.
Soon after, she loudly yelled at another staff member very aggressively in front of us at the bar. Meanwhile, another server had to bring our order out because the combative bartender seemed to forget it in the kitchen and we got them cold.
We were so uncomfortable that we took our food to go. When receiving our check and boxes, we requested an additional box and sauce lids and her response was: “Is there anything else so I don’t have to go back and forth?”
These FOUR aggressive and disrespectful exchanges occurred within the 30 minutes we were there. We don’t think we will return, as it seems this bartender has been there a while and this behavior may be her usual. I would have recommended Rebar before tonight. After that incredibly sour and crude encounter, we don’t feel comfortable returning or recommending anyone to dine here. ESPECIALLY not with this particular bartender.
I want to repeat that no other server at Rebar has ever displayed such outright aggressive behavior when we have dined here before.
We enjoyed our food at home.

I go here so much that I am ashamed I never took the time to give the credit this place deserves. Ok...BEST BURGER in North NJ (Bergen, Hudson, Passaic and Essex County) . The burgers have been consistently great for the 8+ years since I've been going. The hangover is my favorite. Second favorite is the Big Al. The rest are great too (i've had them all) but above are my go-to burgers.
Now...their burgers are not their only great eats. I love the cuban sandwich. The roast beef sandwich is great too and...the tater tots! They also have the broccoli rabe bean app which is fantastic.
Owner is very personable and takes pride in his place.

I’m only giving this place a 2 stars because our server was so nice and friendly. But the food here wasn’t the best. We ordered the burgers since a lot of people enjoyed them and they weren’t that good. The bbq sauce tasted different and not in a good way.
Even the French fries were so bad, it might have been the oil but it tasted like throw up.
We unfortunately came here during Sunday football and the grown men at the bar were SO obnoxious. Slapping their hands over and over on the counter and overall so loud.

Had Big Al’s burger and grilled chicken sandwich. Food was hot and very tasty. Happy hour prices were given at high top tables. Good service. Definitely recommend.

Last night- Food was great! Drinks are a joke! Ordered margaritas and they tasted different each time!! Crazy overpriced! $18 for a margarita charged $12 for margarita mix then $6 for a shot of alcohol which conveniently pricing isn’t on tbe menu. Mind you the cup was about 8-10 oz filled 3/4 of ice and way too much sour mix. Waitress was excellent. Bartender was MIA twice! Never ever will go back. Should be a better business bureau complaint!
Food is always great I love that they have tater tots the lady who bartends earlier in the day and also serves is great she’s awesome at multi tasking and serving

We came on a Sat 15 min after opening and was greeted by the bartender like we entered her home and was bothering her. There were no other patrons. Table she sat us was wobbly, I know she saw it, didn’t say or do anything. My husband ended up fixing. When I asked her what the lightest beer on tap was she says - I don’t know and pointed to the QR code on the table and said “it’s all here like I said” and walked away. I was contemplating leaving at the point but thank goodness our server Tabitha took over. Tabitha was awesome. We ordered our drinks and I heard Tabitha ask the bartender which beer was which as my husband I got both got light beers. She had a terrible attitude with Tabitha and we were embarrassed for her. We saw her correcting Tabitha multiple times in a very blatantly annoyed way. Too bad as the food was good. We got a hangover burger, special wedge salad, pretzel, roast beef sandwich and kid’s special sliders. Tabitha was awesome - very friendly and efficient.
