Everyone knows The Sterling Hotel a few doors down the street, but not many have discovered this lovely restaurant. So far, that is. It gives excellent value! BYOB and it has an adjoining sister Italian bakery where you can choose dessert. Fun! The proprietor is a very nice and friendly young man who deserves, and surely will, succeed.
This was not our first dinner at Biaggio and it was wonderful. Everything you expect and more. Great service ,delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere!
Place has been highly recommended for years and yesterday was the day. An unassuming place tucked away in Sterling, NJ. Was there mid morning, so decided on a Taylor Ham, Eggs and Cheese sandwich, which turned into a difficult process trying to place an order for some reason. In the end, the order was correct, but a challenge to place. That was the only small thing, because they delivered on high level with the order. The Breakfast sandwich was good. Definitely prepared differently than rest of thr state with the Taylor ham on one side and egg on the other. The stromboli was legit. The weight of it alone was one the best.
The Star of the show, was the Jelly donut which moves into my #1 spot for NJ Donut on Scary Good Eats. So good. Packed with Jelly on every bite and the texture of the donut was outstanding. What a hidden gem. Worth taking the ride for the Donuts alone. I know they have more to offer with their menu and I look forward to partaking in some other items. The Jelly Donut champ is here. Can't wait to go back.

Old school, remains old school….. Thank god!!! The bread is the real deal…. Crunchy, texture and taste…. But the donuts are to die for the custard ones are spectacular and the jelly ones are sinful… A must stop by is an order…. Totally delicious 😋

We had an excellent experience at Biagio’s. These folks know how to run a good restaurant, it is a special place and somewhat of a hidden gem.
Experience - the experience is very good. The location is easy, we like that you can park in front. The atmosphere is nice.
Service - the service is also very good.
Food - All of the food is absolutely outstanding, including the specials.
So, overall, the value is very good. We like that it is BYO.

I always have a great experience dining here. From the moment we walk in, the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, with attentive staff who make us feel right at home. The food is always good and the service is excellent; our server checked in often without being intrusive, and everything arrived promptly.

We attended the first day of the new brunch with a very charming musician providing lovely background music. The food was delicious and quite reasonably priced. The only (minor) flaw was that the service was a bit inattentive.
What a lovely evening! My husband, cousin and his wife had a truly wonderful meal. The appetizers were delicious! We went with two specials - eggplant meatballs and baby artichokes, both wonderful. I had ravioli with vodka sauce and spinach that was delicious, my husband had an incredible seafood fra diavolo and my cousin and his wife had a monkfish and salmon dish they both loved. The best was the bakery that is attached to the restaurant! We got to go next door and pick our dessert! The rainbow cookie cake and peanut butter mouse cake were to die for!! J.R, our server couldn't have been nicer. We had such a nice night and will definitely be back!
