Although the “homemade” tortillas were tough and chewy. The sampler appetizer had no flavor and the salsa was so heavy handed with cilantro I could not eat it. Finally getting around to reviewing La Rienda. This place is our go-to local place for enjoying a nice dinner outside. We have been here many times, and the only bad thing is when they are out of my favorite dish, the Pulike (a Guatemalan pork stew). My partner likes the Carne de Puerco and the margaritas, but everything we've tried has been good.

This place was awesome. It's got parking, in the back and outdoor seating in spring and summer. There are different restaurants around this restaurant so it's a little hard to find. It's worth it so don't give up.

We love La Rienda! It’s the best food in Long Valley - actual authentic Mexican and great drinks. Inside, it’s is charming, cozy and eclectic and staff are always so friendly and attentive. Tacos al pastor are beyond good!
I came here with a party of 6 and 2 little pups after a hike in HackleBarney Trails - they were very friendly and accommodating. We sat in their outdoor seating area and it was very cute and cozy. The food was also really good. We had Quesadillas, Carne Asada, Bistec Encebollado, and Fajitas. We all cleaned our plates! Everything was delicious and our waitress kept checking in to make sure everything was going well. Def would come here again if I'm in the area!

Very disappointed! The food was mediocre & very overpriced for not being good. Ceviche was basically tuna fish & lettuce. Food was bland. Chips were the best part.
