Old school Italian restaurant. I got the chicken parmigiana with the spicy sauce, and rigatoni with meat sauce on the side. Good taste.

Great Italian food. I’ve been coming here for years. A “must visit” stop when I go back to NJ from AZ.

This place is like you’re stepping back in time on every amazing level. The food is outstanding. I’ve never had a bad meal. It’s some of the same recipes from the start of this place. The atmosphere just brings you back to such a class of time. I absolutely love it. The staff is always on point and super friendly. You definitely need to make a reservation because this place is always packed, but you don’t feel overly crowded if you’re looking for a really good Italian food I would totally recommend going.

One of the bedrock establishments in local food lore - Angelo’s manicotti is ethereal - light and delicious, totally hand made from bottom up

Everything is incredible and the service is of a level you’ll be hard pressed to find elsewhere

Glass never empires

Thank you for a great lunch Angelo’s

If you love Italian cuisine, you will definitely love this place. They make the manicotti just the way my mother used to make it.

Excellent food, the best attentive service in a restaurant that has been meticulously preserved since the 1980's.

Angelo's is my favorite restaurant in Bergen County and should be in Webster's definition of red sauce Jersey Italian joints. The bar has an integrated continuous cushioned armrest, a skilled and friendly bartender, and the ambience of a Scorsese film. The menu has all the classics with some quirks; i.e. the "meat sauce" has the asterisked disclaimer that it is not a bolognese (it's light enough to top a side pasta) and meatballs can be served with french fries. I had the breaded veal cutlet with a delicious side of hot peppers and onions to top the cutlet with. Side of al dente spaghetti and artichoke appetizer. All fantastic!Note that you must toss your own pasta and red pepper and parm are on the table for this purpose!Desserts are from the adjacent Lyndhurst Pastry Shop and I especially the recommend the ricotta cheesecake, cannoli, and rum cake. They have their own parking around the back....a plus in crowded southern Bergen County.Anyone who likes Italian American classics executed perfectly must eat here. 11/10!
