Corn queso. Excellent meat. Went there a bunch after. Then, they're gone again, teasing for over a year. Pure douche leading us all on for that time. I won't disparage the owners for their other place. However, I'll never patronize any establishment they own.

Carlito's is excellent! The first time I saw them was at the garden state plaza, and the smell was amazing. Then their food truck came to my building, and I had their Birria Quesa-Tacos, which is a tortilla grilled on top of cheese, which melts it and sticks to the tortilla. Yum! But then, what cemented my love for them, and took them from a 4 star, to a 5 star was going to their location which had things which their good truck didn't... i.e. NACHOS! OMG, their brisket nachos are quite possibly one of the best things I've ever had! I don't say that lightly, and I almost never give a 5 star rating! The brisket nachos alone make them worthy of the 5 stars... And then add all of the other quality offerings... All I can say is yum!

This is hands down the best place to get tacos in Clifton and I'm not exaggerating. From freshly made to order tortillas to high quality smoked meat, everything about this place is amazing. My only complaint is that they are not open on Tuesdays so cannot come here for Taco Tuesdays.

Just tried this place for the first time. I ordered 2 tacos, Carne Asada and Brisket. I went with the Carne first and it was insanely good. Couldn't believe it. Then came the brisket, my knees became weak! I almost fell from his tasty that was! Easy choice as as my top new taco joint!

I've tried a lot of taco spots in NE NJ and these are definitely in my top 5. It was easy to order and the food arrived to us quickly. There's not much seating so you'll most likely have to pick up.

Do yourself a favor and try the brisket bowl and brisket tacos. The passion fruit juice rounds out the meal perfect. The food came out fast and the service was pleasant and quick. There's no much seating area but we sat by the bar. The food was great, would recommend.

Definitely one of the best taco spots I've ever been to. So far, their whole menu is amazing, but I highly recommend any dish with their brisket (their brisket is AMAZING) and their dulce de Leche churros. My only complaint is that they close this location during the middle of the year ?. I know they have a spot in Garden State Plaza and a food truck, but their Lyndhurst location is so convenient that I hope they decide to keep it open year round in the future. If you love tacos, you need to check out Carlito's!

Ordered 3 tacos; One brisket, chicken, and pork. It came with a lot of meat and choices of salsa on the side. It was very juicy and delicious. My wife ordered the brisket plato and she loved it as well. The corn side dish was fantastic. Overall great pricing for what you get will order again.
