I used to exclusively order from Chris' for many years until their recipes changed. Last weekend I decided to give them another try. The service is great and the proces are even better. Also, the resturant is clean, spacious, and friendly. However, the pizza is subpar. For some reason, the crust was a bit sweet and the slices themselves were shorter than other pizzerias who offer the same size pie.Overall, good experience, but the pizza, at least, was disappointing.

The original location (just a block 'up' from where Chris' resides currently) was the spot that me and the Mrs. had our very first (impromptu) lunch date a long long (long!) time ago. So it's engrained in my 'Memory Lane' which is why once in a blue we give them a shot. And after each visit... we're disappointed. Lyndhurst is a small town and you can't swing a cat without hitting a pizzeria. And with heavyweights like Josie's and Gencarelli's (and let's not forget Lino's) - you need to up your game and Chris' just isn't there. The crust/dough... unremarkable, could be mistaken for frozen pizza. The sauce/cheese... fine. On our most recent visit we had a few other items (Greek salad with chicken, sautéed spinach) which were good and keeping this from being a 2-star review. The place itself - looks good (much nicer than their original digs) Pricing - not bad Staff - okay My official "In-Town Pizzeria Ranking - Summer 2022 Edition" has Chris' hovering middle-to-lower in the pack. (Turano's is probably dead-last, Josie's might be at the very tippy-top.)

100% worth a stop here. Wonderful atmosphere, amazing food and great people working here. Pizza dough is hand made, ingredients taste fresh and wings are delicious! The fried Oreos are decadent and made to order. Will recommend to anyone.

Chris’ has a great atmosphere. Workers are pleasant & warm. I’ve always had a great experience with ordering, whether it was online or via phone. This place has been around forever & wish them continued success. I personally love there chicken parm vodka sub, tortellini Alfredo & fresh wings! I’ll be ordering real soon!**(Update) Recently ordered a catering for my daughters birthday, food was fantastic as always. Chicken Marsala, Penne vodka, 6ft sub, sausage, peppers, onions & much more. Chris’ is always my go-to & will continue to support!

I actually love this place. It kills me to give them three stars because the service warrants five stars. I called and placed an order on my way home from work. The woman on the phone was probably one of the most customer service friendly people I've encountered in the pizza business. No seriously.... She is... I arrived five minutes before my quoted time and three minutes later, I was on my way. I got a Penne Vodka Pie, Buffalo Chicken pie, Buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks. Let's start with the easy part. Buffalo wings were solid. We got them with mild sauce. Mozzarella sticks were below average. Nothing to write home about. Penne Vodka Pie..... I just didn't taste the Vodka sauce. Was there not enough or did they use regular sauce? I'm still very unsure. I most likely wouldn't get it again. Buffalo Chicken pie was very good. It goes against the grain and a lot of people are going to say... Oh no... No way... But... the sauce was a tomato sauce based with the Buffalo Chicken on top mixed with a little hot sauce. It worked!!!! Yes... it did... I was surprised... Not pies were VERY doughy though. The crust was too thick and chewy for my taste. The under carriage showed that it could've been done another minute or two. All in all, this is a solid place for local eats. I'll definitely be giving them another shot.

I recently had an experience with Grubhub where they did not include the special instructions I requested when ordering. When my order arrived I called Chris’s Pizzeria and explained that my order was incorrect. They listened, apologized for the miscommunication and said they would send me the correct order. I was very pleased with their customer service! Thank you Chris’s Pizzeria. I also want to add that their pizzas are fresh and delicious; and they have plenty of great options.

Thursday 5/20 we ordered large veggie pie with chicken and garlic bread and 5 adults and one kid (2 year) old consumed it . My spouse had immediate reaction after dinner around midnight til 2 am she was throwing up and had loose motion couple of times and at that time only she had reaction so we thought it was for some other reason . Next day I had light headedness and had a feeling of throwing up but was weak entire Friday and felt better only after I throwed up. My spouse was having continuous loose motion temperate upto 99.8 until Friday. On Saturday other 3 adults had same symptoms and same effect now we narrowed down it could because of pizza or cheese on it something was not right. Not sure if this place has hygienic issues or using expired cheese or ingredients. On Sunday 2 year old infant who has very less pizza had temperature close to 100 and was was weak whole day. I writing this review so that management is aware and customers can get benefitted. Last couple of days has became a night mare for my family and friends amidst the ongoing covid-19 crisis
