Food was great and fresh we could tell they put love in their food. I was worried because the girls really wanted I hop but it was too crowded so I decided to try this diner. Couldn't get a spot in the parking lot bit said if I find one outside on the street we will go. So glad we did.

I would give this place 3.5 if i could. Our server was good and answered all of our questions and the food came out quickly. I had 2 eggs with virginia ham and fries… it was okay I asked for my eggs to be over medium and the egg whites were very runny and the ham had an off taste to me. My partner order the chicken pesto omelette and it was very very bland… now the blueberries packages were good. You could eat them without syrup as long as you got a blueberry in the bit.

We love Colonial Diner and have been going there for years. They have the best food and best staff, along with an amazing atmosphere. My three year old asks to go there for practically every meal and we are always greeted like family when we walk through the door. This is the best diner I’ve ever been to. Run -don’t walk- and get ANYTHING from the menu; you won’t regret it!

This was our go to spot in a recent visit to New Jersey. We are from the area, but now live out of state. We were in town for a family event, and this diner was right down the street from where we were staying. It did not disappoint. The staff were so friendly, The food was amazing and the coffee, a staple every morning!

The location is convenient, although having a cemetery across the street is a bit off-putting. The food was cooked exactly how I ordered. The pancakes are huge! You will get great with a smile.
