The food is good as well as the portions. Service was ok. BUT, mapping the floors while customers eat, with the strong detergent smell, was a ticket to get us out of there very fast.

This was our 1st time ordering from here and we ordered because we seen they had good reviews. But honestly it definitely was not worth the hype. We had calamari that was soggy and you can taste the freezer in it, it was not crunchy as if it had been fried and the marinara for the calamari had chunks of whole tomatoes in it which makes no sense because there's no way to pick up the tomatoes on the calamari. I will say the flavor of the marinara was good though. Our pizza was a plain pizza that was over cooked and had a bit of a burnt bottom. We also had garlic knots as well but they were pretty ok for the most part. Honestly i can't say that we will be ordering from here again, maybe it was just an off day for them. Also this was a delivery order not a diner in experience.

Good food, but they messed up my order and gave it to someone else. I had to wait there for a new dish to be made, only reason I’m giving 4 out of 5. I’ll try them again and update this review if necessary.

Went last night with a friend who’s a local .. excellent server .. fantastic suggestion and beautiful NJ pizza .. and the ice cream dessert was to die for 🥰🥰🥰 so good

One plain slice and one buffalo chicken slice. The plain slice was better than average. The crust had a great taste to it. Great sauce to cheese ratio. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give this a 7.6 on a plain slice. The buffalo slice has the same taste on the crust with a nice tolerable heat and nice tang. Chicken was supper moist. A lot of the times the chicken is dry and will scratch the roof of your mouth. This slice is an 8.5 out of 10.

Haven't been to Gencarellis in years. Decided to stop in sometime to get some soup and a ham calzone. I was very impressed with the new remodel of the place and I feel like they did a very good job with it. The portions they give you are a lot but I feel like I get what I paid for. Food was great and the new remodel made the place ten times better. Big props to Gencarellis.

Lousy food lousy service. If you want to pay $18 dollars for rubber calamari then it’s for you. Absolutely will never eat there again. Waitresses are whacked too. Don’t go there.
