My wife and I went to dinner here on Friday expecting a fun time and karaoke. Unfortunately, everything fell flat. When we walked in, the whole restaurant was pretty much empty (that should have been our first clue.) Our server came by and asked what we wanted to drink and walked away mid sentence. He then said that they were closing early. Mind you, we went in the restaurant at 8:30pm. There was no karaoke, the food was laughable. The only decent thing was the pupu platter.
My wife and I ordered the zombies to drink and the drink was the best part of the evening. Will not return.

Just a fun and different experience from the usual dinning. Lee is a real character and makes killer Zombies so make sure you have a designated driver! Love the Polynesian theme as they're aren't too many of these restaurants around! Karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays evenings.

I used to love going here but it has completely changed. The food is horrible!! I know Lee's food and this wasn't it. The waiter was extremely rude to my wife and yelled at her when she asked for utensils. Bye bye Lee's, we won't be coming back!!!

Unique themed restaurants and bars are dying. Lee’s is a gem among them all. Incredible service, food, and ambiance. A historic and legendary piece of north Jersey history. We will keep it alive!!

We got to the restaurant a little after 5 pm. There was only one more couple dining. The whole time, we felt rushed. Food came out right away. We got a pu pu platter. Everything was good in it, but the chicken wings, we couldn't bite through the leathery skin. There were only 2 pieces each of chicken wings, 1 regular egg roll that seemed split in half, shrimp toast, some hawaiian beef skewers, and 2 pork ribs. I think that the price of $29 is a little bit hefty. We also got a shrimp cocktail and 2 Mai Tais. The drinks were good and strong, but we couldn't even enjoy them because, like I said, we felt super rushed. Needles to say, this visit was one and done.

Go to Lee’s!!! This place has everything. 70s Tiki atmosphere and decor (it’s so kitschy, it’s amazing), good food and amazing service.

The Pu Pu Platter is fresh and delicious! So filling! We shared 2 entrees with 4 people and had leftovers.

The drinks were amazing. Fruity and delicious. We had 2 rounds each and all needed to Uber home.

Nancy the host is so incredibly friendly and regailed us with stories about the place in the 70s. We even met Steve Lee the owner and namesake and he is a 90 year old spitfire. This is more than just a restaurant, this is an experience.

Loved this place! They have been in business for over 50 years. Great environment, food is excellent! if you remember Lun Wah in Roselle this is a place just like it, just larger.

Parking: The parking lot is behind the building. It needs to be re-paved because of holes & cracks.

This is the way that restaurant hospitality should be done. The staff makes you feel like you are family. I love the atmosphere, with it's classic retro hawaiian vibe. The food is delicious and drinks are the best. Highly recommended!

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the New York Metro. I grew up in Mass going to the Kowloon north of Boston and I have been searching for a ‘Jersey Kowloon’ since I moved down here during covid. Nancy is the absolute best manager, host and personality I’ve come across in NJ. This place has me leaving feeling like i just stepped out onto 1A in Saugus MA. Hands down will come back once a month and bringing my friends. This is the spot I’ve been looking for.
