*TooGood2Go Review*
I only see this spot on the app once in a while and since it was a place I had bookmarked already, I jumped on the chance when it popped up on TooGood2Go. For this order, we received some stewed curry chicken with rice and peas. The chicken was kind of dry. I'm not sure if it's an end of the day thing, or that's just how their chicken is. I guess there was a reason why there was still some left at the end of the day.
I'd still come back to try their gyros and jerk chicken, which is what I originally wanted to try and was hoping to get. Maybe those dishes will be better.
It’s really good clean nice price they take there time they remember you and is nice and really chill.

Stopped in here shortly before closing and they were still super gracious and willing to feed us. We had the kebab platter and the spinach pie and it was amazing! We are definitely adding this to our order out options! Looking forward to trying the jerk chicken wings on our next try bc they happened to be out of those tonight.

First time here , used Too Good To Go app and I got my order at 7:30. Got red beans and rice , carrots with jerk chicken. And a spinach pie. Everything was so spicy but good! My bf really enjoyed it. Best Too Good To Go order so far! My boyfriend also said D hooked it up. Check them out !!

I recently ordered takeout from Lyndhurst Jerk & Gyro spot, hoping to satisfy a craving for oxtails. The spot had the highest rating on Google in my area, so I expected a great meal. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing.
First, I ordered the oxtail platter with fries and steamed cabbage. The oxtail was severely lacking in any sort of flavor, and the steamed cabbage was incredibly bland. It might have been among the worst oxtails I've ever had, which was shocking given the high rating of the place.
I also got two jerk chicken platters with rice & beans and fried plantains. The jerk chicken was no better. It had no spice or hint of the bold jerk seasoning that defines good jerk chicken. This was among the worst jerk chicken dishes I've ever had.
The disappointment continued with the Jamaican beef patties. They were clearly store-bought and not made at the location, lacking the freshness and flavor expected from homemade patties.
The desserts were similarly terrible. The baklava was dry and boxed, lacking any semblance of freshness. The sweets were overtly sweetened, and the carrot cake was pre-packaged and overly sweet.
Overall, this was a terrible experience. I won’t be recommending this place to others, nor will I be returning.

Lamb kebab was extremely tough and chewy and salty. Salted cod fritters had all batter and very little fish. All in all very disappointed. I was actually very excited to try before having the food.
The food and service are always on point. I'm here often and will be going back.

The best Jamaican food I’ve ever had!!! I I’ve been to many different Jamaican restaurants and this one is by far the best! From the delicious food, great people, and a nice area to have fun and play foosball and Pac-Man with your family! I recommend it to anyone who’s looking for great food and great service!

This restaurant business is the best around town. It has the most authentic Jamaican food and the Jerk chicken platter is my go to every time I come here. The beef patties are delicious and spicy. If you aren’t tolerable towards spicy food then beware with the jerk sauce. The place has a sit down area in the back with arcade game and foosball table. Owners are very admirable and respectful.

Best jerk chicken places I’ve had in Jersey. Ask for jerk sauce on the side as well. Worth it
