This is the best pizza that I’ve had in North Jersey in the 15 years that I’ve been living here. Also, it’s one of those very rare, old school places where you feel like family the moment that you walk through the door for the first time. I’ve only been there twice, and each time my family and I have had the pleasure of the chatting with Frank, the owner and some of the staff members. It’s such a great place, because the pizza is awesome, the staff is wonderful and the ambience is such an ideal mix of modern dining and a nod back to the nostalgic days when going out for dinner or lunch was a special experience. And, I can’t impress enough upon the readers enough just how good their pizza is. We live in an era, and in an area, where you can find really good pizza anywhere. I live in Paramus and we have a few excellent pizza joints. But, I’m willing to travel for exceptional pizza. After having had pizza at the Original Mr. Bruno’s, it’s going to be hard to go back to my favorite pizza place in my neighborhood. I think from now on, I’m going to take the 20 minute drive to Lyndhurst whenever we’re craving pizza.

Parking: The restaurant is located in a strip mall with lots of parking.

I was recommended by a co worker to stop here. I picked up a couple of slices for lunch, I picked out 1 that wasn't as dried out looking as the others. I paid 10$ for 2 grandpa slices and they were just awful! The sauce had no seasoning, LG slices of mozzarella that were gross and it was not warm. The restaurant was bustling with eat in customers. I cannot decide if it's worth trying dinner there ? in the dining room

1st, I don't do reviews.
2nd, I have to. It was just that darn good.

Working in East Rutherford for a few weeks, I asked the clerk at the smoke shop where I can get a good meal? He said, "When I want good, I get Mr. Brunos"

1.5 miles away, I pulled up and stepped inside. The side room was a quaint dining area, and the main area by the counter, which was overloaded with fresh hot pizzas of every kind, was my side of the place.

i sat down, and not 2 minutes went by, and this nice waitress asked me my drink choice. She set the cold bottle down with an ice filled cup. There was a menu on the table and I began to study it.

2 things stood out, 1. the choices made it dang near impossible to decide, y'all in New Jersey like choices. I'm from Alabama, where ya can get spaghetti 3 ways, mozzarella sticks or substandard pizza. That's the whole Italian section. 2. The prices were higher than I'm used to, but I have been in the area on and off 2 months, so I adjusted, and and drooled a little as I read.

Im pretty good size and my biscuit was growling so I settled on shrimp and mussels with Linguine.

My waitress brought a plate, butter and a dang full loaf of really good bread, just the right crunch and soft and warm in the middle.

I shouldn't have ate so much bread, but I was almost Hangry and it was real good.

So my sweet waitress checked on me and a gentleman brought out my order... it had to be a strong person as that was alot of food! I wondered if I ordered the "For Two" deal for a full minute.

I took a deep breath and dug in.

The mussels: I really have to say that those lil monsters were chubby and delicious! I enjoy good musselsbin my travels but they were seasond perfectly with the right mix of marinara and juice. I would have seen all those mussels but these jumbo shrimp were all in the way.

These "SHRIMP" were huge. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. I'm the guy that can never eat enough shrimp, I know shrimp. These were the Schwarzenegger of shrimp.

The Linguine was excellent. Great flavor, I'm used to the noodles being the carrier for the pond of sauce. The proportion of sauce/noodle was spot on.

I couldn't even finish 1/2 my meal, but will later :)

If ya want a good meal, get it made by nice people. Spend a few bucks here,
I guarantee I'll be back to sample the pizza buffet before I head to the next location.

I ate here about a year ago and ate a slice of pizza which was decent . I was craving cavetelli and broccoli so I came here for an early dinner and I was completely satisfied . They gave me a big portion and I had some leftovers to eat later that night .It was delicious and they gave me bread too . The waitress Sirlene was very attentive and fast . It makes a difference when you have someone pleasant and ho cares serving you . So A+++ for the service too . Parking was no problem lots of parking in the front . I will return .

Best pizza I've ever had!

Ever since this place went to new owners/management, the quality's gone down. Most notably in their square pies. The sauce pales in comparison to the older sauce. Prices have increased while quality has taken a hit. Still a decent Italian restaurant but I think it's taken a few steps back in the last few years. Must be replacing the menus on the wall because they were completely missing, kinda giving a depressing vibe. Shame.
