Food was allll disgusting. Nothing was good. Shrimp roll oily and no flavor. General tso tasted old with hot sauce on it. Shrimp with broccoli was just awful. Never ever again.

My favorite new Chinese spot. Real spring rolls. Great shrimp and their fried rice is on point. Can't complain everything had great flavor and was delish, not greasy at all!

I loveeee the sesame chicken & salt and pepper shrimp, def my favorite dishes. I was a little skeptical because of some of the bad reviews on here but I think those were left for the previous owner. I've been ordering out a lot more during covid & this place has become my go to chinese takeout restaurant

Got the chicken and broccoli, fish filet in ginger sauce, and salt and pepper shrimp. The shrimp was crispy and perfectly seasoned and the chicken was very tender. Really can't go wrong with this classic Chinese takeout taste!

The food here is amazing! The workers there are seriously the sweetest people ever!! If you are looking for good food, and good customer service, order from here!

Horrible disgusting food. Stay away. Boneless ribs very salty and overcooked. Garlic chicken! What and where is the garlic. I have no idea what dish they made. Just nasty and not good chinese at all.

I celebrated my nomination last night in this delicious restaurant. happy to tell that it was a wonderful evening and the place was no doubt one of the reasons for this strong gathering. The team collaborated in a gorgeous way, the cooking was tasty and my guests were so glad. We shall definitely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.

Very consistent and always hits the spot! We had a little confusion tonight after ordering online and they were nice enough to come back with the missing items (in retrospect I'm pretty sure it was my error yet they still accommodated me). Quality food and quality service!

My favorite Chinese spot in the area. The delivery is always quick, it's reasonably priced, but most importantly the food is always fresh and delicious. Some of my go to items are the BBQ pork spare ribs (bone-in) they're always SAUCY and cooked well- THIS is what Chinese spare ribs are supposed to taste like, yet sooooo many other places get it wrong wrong wrong! ... chicken with broccoli- the broccoli is always fresh, crispy and never overcooked, and they DO NOT SKIMP out on SAUCE (like so many other places do) ... the chicken wings and roast pork egg rolls are always solid, and the soups are good too... there are a bunch of other Chinese food spots in Lyndhurst that I've had and pale in comparison to NEW No. 1 Kitchen. I don't know what this place was like before but I don't think it gets enough business now because of the previous owners/bad past reputation... so trust me, and give this place a shot NOW and thank me later! You will see what's up. Oh yeah, and if you pay cash, you get a free soup when you spend $15+, which is easy to attain.

Decent take out Chinese, Good lunch menu with nice portion sizes. All lunch orders come with soup or soda. Shrimp dish had nice amount of shrimp. Wonton soup was tasty. Strong recommend.

This place’s sauces are spot on. Everything from brown sauce, Szechuan, garlic sauce, ect. Real nice chef and customer service.

Ordered the house special fried rice, not much in there except rice and it was bland.

Did take out. Food was boring. Reasonable priced & a decent selection but I don't think we will go back

I was in the mood for Chinese takeout and I was having trouble finding an open restaurant nearby. I took my chances and ordered for pickup. I have to say I’m extremely disappointed. Everything we ordered was EXTREMELY bland. We ended up throwing out most of the food. My recommendation: go elsewhere. Oriental Garden is better.
