A really nice place with some of the best beer battered fish and chips. I am more of a breaded vs battered fish person, but this is a great implementation. I look forward to trying their other menu items.
Love this place! It's what local restaurants all should be: friendly, welcoming service in an intimate, comfortable atmosphere where the food is actually worth the price - unlike a lot of the newer restaurants that seem to just be trying to make a name for themselves that have exploded in this area. New to Lyndhurst and made a stop at The Thistle. A nice little quaint spot with some good food. I had the crab meat stuffed flounder and my boyfriend had the fish and chips with scallops and shrimp for lunch. The waitress was very nice and she was understanding that we were pressed for time.
