Lunch Special was great, however the Scallion Cakes I tried for the first time, not so much. Very chewy and could not bite down to eat even one! Hurt my teeth! No scallions in order? I called to ask about my purchase and was told...they were made in batches and were in there? That was the main reason I ordered.
Small shop, its really only for take out... been going here for 14 years... I like their food. Sometimes, you're waiting a while if you walk in the building. Better off ordering ahead by phone... prices are a little high for quantity. Overall, it's decent and better than the 3 others nearby.... a quart of rice is like 12 bucks, which is what I buy and my daughter likes the sweet and sour chicken with crab rangoon...

ordered on doordash. food was mid and then i woke up later that night super sick with food poisoning which lasted 2 days. if you read the other reviews you’ll see im not the only one !! i do appreciate that they gave me my money back but somethings definitely not right if people keep getting food poisoning, some reviews go back years.

Ordered a few items that came to $83.00. Wonton soup - noodles were hard and meat and broth tasted odd. Spring Rolls - The inside was like mush and outside over cooked. Shrimp Rolls - The shrimp was one large piece of shrimp and filler. Outside burnt Pork fried rice - pork was over cooked and dried out. Spare ribs - way over cooked and dry Chicken LoMein - it was very oily and tasted peculiar. Beef and mixed veggies - Big disappointment because I love vegetables. And the beef was very tender, but the flavor was just extremely odd. Sweet-and-sour chicken - so over cooked

So I will stick to the Mandarin in Deptford next to Dunkin’ Donuts in Staples. There are new people running it, but their food is very good. Has nice flavor and they also have the Japanese section where you can get sushi and other delightful items. So ?????????? for Wok N Roll ?
