Omg my husband and I came here for dinner last night our first time and we loved it! The food is sooo good! My husband had the chipolte chicken burritto with sweet plantains and i had the fajita mitxa with chicken ,shrimp and steak omg! To die for! Authentic Mexican for sure! The decor is so cute and the tables and chairs were hand painted and so detailed very nicely done. The server was very nice. The food portions are huge . Our new go to place for sure! Definitely worth the ride from toms river! DH

I asked for my meal to be gluten free and dairy free but it wasn’t dairy free that’s for sure in my beans there was visible cheese bits some must have fallen in or the forget to not add that so be very when you have severe allergies because they weren’t careful about cross contamination as you can see their a a couple bits of cheese in the beans when I ask for it to be gluten free and dairy free otherwise than this the food was ok I did not eat the beans but the other food hopefully I will be fine

I’ve had some great experiences with Jarochita but today is likely the last. We ordered through uber eats, and we didn’t get an entire meal. I called the restaurant in hopes I could get the meal, but they transferred me to at least 3 people. I gave them my order number but they refused to look it up because I didn’t have their receipt that THEY didn’t give me. Their solution was to call Uber eats. No. They didn’t give me my order.
Severely disappointed. Completely unacceptable.

Good place, good location, nice server. However disgusted with the fact that me and my girlfriend just drank all of the water from the pitchers they give you and found black mold growing inside of the pitcher full of water. If this glass isn’t clean then God only knows what else everything we don’t see looks like.. very put off from this be careful if you eat here. Good food though! (It was worse than the justice done from the photographs my camera doesn’t pick it up due to reflection from water droplets and condensation ) Absolutely no concern to the staffs just “ok & sorry” and they all carried on like it wasn’t a big deal. I’m disappointed with the interaction probably never coming back. Used to love going here…
