This restaurant was SO diligent and considerate in calling and asking about our party's allergies. They literally said "we want to go above and beyond in making sure this is safe for you". Great staff and vibe of the place. Food was EXCEPTIONAL! Favorites were portabella sandwich, and avocado club! Can't wait to go back here!

Staff was wonderfully nice, waited 35 minutes for food that was the most bland and tasteless s*** I've ever eaten... The front and center display of the logo of a pseudo-domestic terrorist organization was disgraceful. What a shame but can't say I'm suprised Update: Got incredibly sick from the food to include expelling a demon from both ends....never again....

Great options are pumped out of this tiny location. If you're having a beach day, this is a light and refreshing option. Staff are friendly and food comes out quick. You get to pick your bread/wrap and a small side. Be sure to ask for forks and napkins if you plan to eat on the beach. Make sure to check out their hours because they close at 3pm. Tempeh bacon on multi-grain bread could use some crunch with a pickle or pickled peppers. It's a simple sandwich but taste great. It had just the right amount of mayo. Maybe I'll add mustard too next time. Avocado tempeh melt is a show stopper. Vegan cheese ooozed out the sides. It was a tasty surprise. I would say this one was my favorite. I took one star away because of the plastic straw. We should do better, especially so close to the ocean. The small cups the sides came in and the drink cup can be recycled. Everything else was wrapped biodegradable material.

excellent vegan restaurant. always fresh, service is exceptional. love the tempeh, potato salad and tofu scramble. no decaf coffee, but that's ok. so nice to have healthy, vegan options here in manahawkin.

I'm from Jersey City where there are LOTS of vegan food options, however this is the best vegan meal I have had. Very pleasantly surprised with the Cheesy Tempeh burrito! Absolutely delicious and filling! The tempeh itself is so flavorful and has a really enjoyable texture. I wish I had asked for it to be cut in half so I could have taken a picture. Enjoyed it in every way and have no complaints! Great portion size and left me more than satisfied. My fiancé loved it as well! If we weren't moving soon, I would see us being regular customers here.

My mom & I ADORED this cute place with indoor & outdoor seating. I got the fabulous Chuckwich with seasoned seitan & crunchy veg on top. My mom got the avocado tempeh melt served warm & delicious. Everything was fresh & oh so good with high quality ingredients. Definitely get the potato salad as the side. The chocolate chip cookie was lip-smacking & the lemonade was yum. The food was so good we ate it up & didn't even remember to take a pic first. There's additional seating under the trees in the back parking lot. I'm from NYC & the food at this place was just as amazing as some of the best vegan lunch spots I frequent. Update: Gone twice more & each time the food was amazing! Make sure to check out the daily specials before ordering. They even show them in the online order area for takeout. If I hadn't I would have missed out on the fabulous Chickenless Deluxe. Also to answer someone else note, the straws aren't plastic. They are compostable.
