El Pastor tacos were excellent. Love the sauces and the radishes on the side.

We had the Honduran Carne Asada and it was excellent. The steak, refried beans, vegetables were nicely seasoned. The soft tortillas they served on the side were very warm and tasty. We also had a drink that was a mixture of cucumber water and lemonade which was delicious. What also made the food and drink so good were the fresh ingredients. Plus, the owners were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the LBI area.

They must have changed owners or something because a year ago the food was fantastic.Let's discuss......Our afternoon started with chips and some kind of sauce. No salsa. But hey, every place is different.Water? Warm. Little to no ice. (Asked for seltzer and I got a strange look)Now to the food.I ordered the same dish I had last time. Brazeraso poblano. This is a dish with a variety of grilled meats including chicken, beef, chorizo, sausage and onions and peppers. Last time, this was amazing. This time, cold, gristle-laden beef, no sausage, a pork chop that could have been used as a hammer, and three, split hot dogs that were barely cooked and flaccid. Yes, hot dogs. And not even good hot dogs. When I enquired about the missing chorizo, the waitress said they forgot only to bring out something that looked and tasted like low-grade kielbasa. My son's chimichanga was covered with cheese sauce from a can (I won't say it was Velveeta because that would be an insult to the good folks at Kraft Foods). The beans were cold, the rice was terrible and overall the service was such that my daughter asked if she could go get her own drink because the wait staff (one person) was MIA.I would have gained more satisfaction burning the $100 bill I spent, simply because it would have generated heat.

How can you NOT have anyone that understands or speaks English waiting on people in a restaurant? We waited over an hour for dinner and the appetizer was brought along with it! 2 orders of them I might add because he didn’t understand English. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless you speak fluent Spanish. The food wasn’t bad but between the horrible service & wait for food we def won’t go back.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The service was good, the ambiance pleasant and inviting. But the highlight was the food. We started with nacho chips with 2 intriguing alternatives to salsa. I had the carne asada Honduran style, it was served with rice beans, avocado slices, salsa, lime and queso fresco. Excellent. My wife had papusas and a baleada. Both were excellent. The portions were large and the prices ridiculously low. So low that I felt compelled to leave a 35% tip. .

Excellent choice for ethnic food. The ambiance was very pleasant. The service quite good. Between us we ordered papusas, baleadas and carne asada. The portions were large and the taste excellent. The price was amazingly inexpensive. So much so that I felt compelled to leave a 35% tip. One of the few truly ethnic style restaurants on or around LBI.

$15 for a burrito that is about the size of something from the taco bell cravings menu.

The actual name of restaurant is not the same owners at this restaurant location. They did not change the name to new owners at this location yet and are using Sareli’s name, Beware…

Terrible. Rotten shrimp and tomatoes, commented 2 times about it, still charged. Clueless server. Never again, beware! If I could give it zero stars I would.
