Creepy Uncle Dave here. This place never disappoints. I’ve been here many times but this was the first time I’ve been here for diner. This is not a white tablecloth establishment but it definitely gives you a homey feel. My boss once said that the best way to keep employees coming to work is to make them feel at home. I said to him that if he wanted me to feel at home he would need to pay me more. So I call out the sick the rest of the week. It felt like the right thing to do at the time. Anyway, I ordered cup of chicken soup that hit the spot on this chilly fall evening and the Al’s Chicken Sandwich with fries, coleslaw and a pickle. Gotta have the pickle! I definitely enjoyed this sandwich. It was a piece of fried chicken coated in buffalo sauce topped with lettuce and blue cheese dressing all served on a sub roll. That would be a hero for the transplants reading this. The whole time I was there the waiter was friendly and welcoming. This quality is lost in a lot of the big chain restaurants. I will definitely be back to try one of their taco dishes and admire the Velvet Elvis hanging on the wall. I like this place and think you will too. Tell them I sent you! -Creepy Uncle Dave

Best place around for breakfast. Friendly staff, great food, good prices, and fast. We had only been there once in the last few days months afer being weekend regulars because of certain life circumstances, but it hasn't missed a beat.
