This is my favorite restaurant of all time. I celebrate all my milestones at La Lupa. I get blown away by the rigatoni carbonara every single time. The professionalism and attention to detail by the staff is impeccable. I Love you La Lupa 😘
Although the service was great I found all the dishes to be extremely salty. I also felt rushed as in I was asked to take my plates while I was still eating multiple times. If I put my fork down to take a sip of my drink someone tried to take my plate. Also my bone wasn't included in my to go box when I requested to take the rest of my steak home. The Jersey corn pasta dish was the best of all the plates.
Wow! Amazing local spot, felt like we walked into a bespoke lower manhattan spot. Impeccable service and welcome - food speaks for itself. It's an energetic, cozy setup, I was impressed. Perfect date night..
The food was great. Restaurant was way too small and uncomfortable. Noise level was too loud and I could not carry on a conversation with my wife. Very expensive. If the owner ever decides to move to a bigger place it will be great!
Our dinner at La Lupa was simply fantastic! From start to finish, everything felt thoughtful and elevated . . . the food, the energy, decor, and especially the service. Chad, our server, was attentive and professional without being intrusive. It was also wonderful connecting with Dan, the manager, and reminiscing about La Lupa's former sister restaurant in NYC, where a mutual friend once worked. Everything about the evening felt warm, personal, and memorable. A beautiful dining experience all around. I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!
It was a wonderful first experience, everything we ordered was great. The service was 5star.
Absolutely outstanding. The staff is so knowledgeable. I was truly blown away by the service, hospitality and food. It's small, but it's so damn good. Already looking forward to the next time. Thank you Bryan and rest of staff for a lovely evening.
Our second time dining at La Lupa. Absolutely amazing from start to finish! One of the best trained restaurant staffs we have ever experienced. Extremely knowledgeable about their menu and can guide you through a memorable food experience. Can't wait to return!!
I’m not one to ever leave reviews for places, but I feel inclined to after the meal we had. My boyfriend and I dined here last night for the first time and it was absolutely a stand out. The food was absolutely incredible—you could taste the freshness of the ingredients and the attention to detail was evident. Chad, our server, was phenomenal—his recommendations did not disappoint. The sweet corn pasta was one of the best dishes we’ve ever had, anywhere—if you see it on the menu, it’s a no brainer. The pizza was also delicious, and the porterhouse was cooked to perfection. We cannot recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back!

Great small Italian restaurant. Cozy, lively, trendy with interesting and creative food. Not your average Jersey Italian joint, far more like a NYC gastronomic experience in the burbs.

I have nothing but great things to say about La Lupa. It’s truly a gem in Monmouth County from start to finish. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels special—the lighting, the music, and the people all come together to make it one of a kind. The food speaks for itself; every dish I’ve tried has been excellent. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate the variety of options available, and each one has been outstanding. The desserts, especially the brownie and cookie, are also a highlight. I truly applaud the team behind La Lupa for creating such a wonderful experience and wish them continued success. I can’t wait to come back.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Manalapan. The food here is always top-notch, with a menu that constantly evolves with the seasons while never compromising on quality. From the dry-aged steaks to the fresh pastas and wood-fired pizzas, every dish is executed with care and precision.
The steaks are a highlight, perfectly cooked and finished with Laudemio Frescobaldi extra virgin olive oil, which takes them to another level. My personal go-to is the Tuscan fried chicken (crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor), but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The pastas are consistently outstanding, whether you stick with a classic or go for one of the specials.
What I love most is the attention to ingredients, everything tastes intentional, seasonal, and elevated. I’ve never had a bad meal here, whether dining with family or sharing a table with friends. Every visit feels like a special experience.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for one of the best dining spots in the area!

We came in at 9:30pm to be greeted by a man who said that their kitchen just closed. They close EVERYDAY THEY’RE opened at 11PM. Definitely didn’t want to argue the fact if the matter to have something wired done to my food. NO THANK YOU!! Seemed a bit discriminatory… never again!!!
